That's right, everybody, it's time once again for that embarrassment to the games' industry known as Spike TV's Video Game Awards. This year, though, they're promising that it'll be "super awesome and cool you guys, no really, don't leave!" as they do every year... but this time, they really mean it.
Here are some of the categories and nominees.
The Escapist
The event will be hosted by Samuel L. Jackson, who evidently just can't say no to a paycheck, and will feature musical performances from Tenacious D (Hurrah!) and Linkin Park (Hurumph.). Also, there will probably be some reveal trailers and announcements (aka the only parts worth watching), but you can just watch them right after the show anyway, so... yeah.
The VGAs will air December 7th. Just remember: Whoever wins, we lose.
