Here's the scenario switch wouldn't charge or start at all. I replace the m92t36 now it slow charges and starts. It will never quick charge, once booted it will actually never charge above .05 amps.

But what's really weird is if the console is off and I plug it in it goes through the process of slow charging and starting. If I never unplug it and it starts while plugged in the charging voltage jumps from 5 volts @ .41 amps to 6.5 volts @ 0 amps. If I unplug and immediately plug it back in it goes back to 5 volts @ .05 amps.

No shorts. When it's@ 6.5 volts I get no voltage coming from the m92 to the bq. As soon as I unplug and plug it back in I get normal voltage everywhere but it won't charge.

The system actually seems to start and operate normal other than this weird charging thing.

I'm using an aukey quick charger but I've tried multiple chargers and it does the same thing.

New discovery. This console will not go into RCM... I have 2 consoles that have weird charging issues and neither will go into RCM but all the others go into RCM without hesitation.

They both have slightly different charging issues but both will only charge@ .05 amps once the system is booted with an aftermarket charger. Both seem to charge fine with the Nintendo charger or on the dock. Both display to tv and everything else works fine with both systems.
