Hacking Very important question about system transfer.

Okay, so as a update, I had gotten the new 3ds xl, followed the plaiced guide on github for the a9hl process, and end result, i ended up with a Luma3ds firmware. (It looks like invincibility starman from super mario bros, but fat and like a pillow) Anyway, i have a luma updater, and what not, the a9hl boot time settings, set up, I successfully preform system transfer from my other 3ds (with pasta and cake whatever) It worked well.

Just a heads up, depending on the method of transfer according to the 3ds there are three options.
Wireless transfer. Full. (performs complete transfer using the source and target system)

Wireless Tranfer. Partial. (Performs partial transfer, Everything but the games itself will be transfered, Must redownload games from eshop again to play after completed, Saves are included and kept intact.)

PC transfer. (Must copy files between SD cards using pc file management.

The system explains that since new 3ds and old 3ds uses incompatible sd cards (Sd micro on new 3ds) that some options are recommended.

I chose full transfer (Took long, about 4 hours)

The transfer worked. Jus for anyone curious, the full transfer copies all files on sd card to target system.
The source system was set up with cake cfw while the target had lumacfw, which messed things up but fixed it simply by replacing the files with the luma. Its just a notice to anyone curious.

Anyway, the end result is i got them both done with zero problems.

I do have more questions, My first question is should i change my cake to luma as well and how would i do it?
Second, the luma settings screen has some options, i don't quite understand, the guide says to actiivate specific options but doesn't explain why or what use it will be to me. One i don't know is the "New 3ds cpu." The guide says set to "Clock+L2" I dunno what that supposed to mean, another one is "Show GBA Boot screen in patched AGB_FIRM" Which obviously has to do with gameboy advance, bu still would like to know what that is.

Guess that is all for now, so thanks for help.:)

Switch from Cakes to Luma, as cakes is less user-friendly and for advanced users.

Clock+L2 = New 3DS Clock speed, which forces the N3DS to run with more power than the o3DS. (804MHz to 266MHz)
