Guy 1 : Haha... these guys want all the good games...

Guy 2 : Shouldn't we just give it to them... make a ton MORE money making people buy the same game for a 5th time?

Guy 1 : HA! Wow... you really don't know how it works. We make them BEG for months before we release the game they want, then 3-4 months after they die down, we finally release it.

    Guy 2 : But why?

Guy 1 : Because we can!

Goldeneye - The rights to James Bond belong to Activision I think, plus Rare is owned by Microsoft
Killer Instinct Gold - Rare is owned by Microsoft

What's wrong with you even asking some of those?

    1) License hell, don't count on it
    2) Rare=MS=hahahaha
    3) Maybe, who owns it anyways these days?
    4) Inexcusable, I'll give ya that one.

They just need to release Majoras Mask for the VC and I would be happy. Possibly Superman 64 aswell.

Definitely. If it doesn't come the the VC then how will people be able to apreciate the glory that is superman., With all the horrible releases nowadays, people will start to forget the classic horrible games.

Believe it or not but some of us actually buy games also. Just not all of them. Since you could install wads, I have bought all the Strong Bad Episodes, Paper Mario and Lylat Wars.

I wouldn't be surprised if Donkey Kong 64 was released considering Nintendo own the rights to that particular franchise.

I was part of a small group of people that tried to inject N64 ROMs into the Virtual Console emulator. We had VERY poor results from this. Maybe 2 out of 10 games worked and most of those had glitches. Nintendo obviously has the power to tweak their emulator and we didn't, but still, I don't think Nintendo's emulator is very good. I believe this is why the lineup of VC games seems strange and almost random at times - they're forced to release what they can get to work.

But as far as any of the Rare games, yeah. Don't bet on it. Especially Goldeneye with its double-licensing hell.

Conkers Bad Fur Day will never make it as the license is now owned by Microsoft. The only Rare games on the 64 we have a chance with are Donkey Kong 64, Diddy Kong Racing (without the Banjo character) and Blast Corps.
