Emulation VBA - Pokemon Sapphire - Ran Berry Glitch Fix, berries still not growing.

So my berries haven't been growing. I've turned RTC on, and I've used VBAlink to connect to the glitch fix cart (the one with shiny zigzagoon) and it ran and said berry program updated, but I still can't get my plants to progress, I save and come back hours later and they still haven't grown.

Clock in my/rivals room shows correct time.

Any other things which need to be fixed?

Use a save editor (PkHeX) to enable the clock reset feature, use it to check the in-game clock (number of days-hours-minutes-seconds) and set it high enough

VBA likely sets the virtual hardware clock to the computer's, down to the full date - which should work out (until the number of days is capped or rolls over at 9999) but is clearly not how the game is intended to work!
