I just recently got into the homebrew thing (yesterday actually). So I got the homebrew channel installed through a direct iso instead of through twilight hack. Here are my quesitons thus far.

1) For the Wii64 emulator, where do I place the roms to load them? I've tried placing them in a folder called "N64 Roms" on the SD's root. I've also tried directly placing all the roms on the root. Neither worked out for me.

2) What is WAD? I've seen it mentioned in many places, but I can't find a place that tells me what it is.

3) What is a VC hack and how do you do it?

I'll be continuing to search around for mre information too.

1. it is N64 Roms, but i'm not 100% sure. i havn't got my sd card with me.

2. a wad is a file which contains other files which make up a vc game or wiiware game

3. There is no "vc hack"

WAD files containing VC/WiiWare games are illegal but you can just search on a torrent site.
WAD installer - Installers WADs
WAD manager - Installs & Uninstalls WADs that you chose.

How do I aquire such wad files? I saw some homebrew apps called WAD installer and WAD managers. What exactly do they do?

You require wads of vc and wiiware games from various website. It is against the rules to give out links or ask for them because wads (vx and wiiware wads) contain roms.
The wad installer installs the vc or wiiware game contained in a wad. The wad manger install and uninstalls vc and wiiware games contained in a wad.

Thanks to both of you

Guys, I successfully installed a VC game, but when I tried to install Lost Winds, I get an error midway through. Help?
