Simple question for all the people who have played or playing Final Fantasy 13

Do you like or hate Vanille

I thinks she ok but I hate the fact that every cut scene she has a harsh orgasm full of panting and screaming ( If you hear a cut scene from another room for example it really doesn't sound good )

I always use her as my Healer so that's the reason I don't totally hate her, plus she's nice to Hope

Jrpg's always have to include at least one character that makes you cringe with embarrassment. Unfortunately the whole FF13 cast is like this.

I'd have to disagree with that as for some reason I really like Snow

What I said in the shoutbox

"vanille sucks big time, one of the worse ff characters ever. Whats with the accent? it constantly changes"

What about Sazh? Have you heard the motherfucker's theme? He's a classy motherfucker.

I don't like her despite being cute and having pigtails, her personality fails harder than Miley Cyrus and her English VA sucks. If her personality and voice wasn't annoying as hell I would wish she was 4 years older. Sazh's theme is really good though.

I actually don't mind Vanille. I wouldn't say she's one of my favourite characters of all time but she doesn't really bother me. Would be nice if she could settle on just the one accent instead of swapping between many, but still, I don't really mind all that much. Plus her inclusion led to one of the best moments in the series if you ask me. The 'incident' around the time you get Sazh's Eidolon (I really have to focus to stop calling them Aeons after a two week FFX sphere grid grind to fight Penance). That was classic.

That was pretty good...... gotta love Chocobo's

I really thought she was gonna be a much better character.. Was fairly disappointed. =/ I really can't stand her English VA, though. It's sounds like she's been breathing helium all her life and those random moans and groans during battle/cut scenes was just awkward and weird >_>;;

Yeah, the funny thing about that. Her in-game age is 19 according to the guide.

I didn't mind her. Her accent was an annoying australian but bearable and her personality made sense. Sort of; if I keep smiling and acting happy, it will all go away. She was lying to everyone and felt incredibly guilty towards both sazh and snow and also very sad about her "focus".

All in all, I think the entire cast was very well done. Cept for hope. I loved how he was so emo after watching his mum die and then got over it and grew some balls but then he turns into this emotional peptalk speaker that says the corniest shit over and over again and never just one or two lines. No, a whole goddamn monologue about "NEVER GIVING UP" and "ALWAYS STICK TOGETHER".

The story was weird though. Not FFX weird but pretty close. The whole maker thing just gets dropped on you towards the end of the game and doesn't really make much sense... Also if orphan really wanted to die, why the hell didn't he just let me kill it. Did it really have to IK me twice? Fucking orphan.

Vanille - Age: 19 Height: 161cm

She'd be great if she could decide whether her accent is british or australian (i guess its supposed to be ozzie like fang's but it fades in betweeen the two)

I haven't got that far into the game yet, I'm on the second disc just when Lightning and Hope reach the city, But I've got a funny feeling about her for a few reasons:

THE FOLLOWING TEXT IS WHITE
  • She was there when Sazh's son was being made a L'cie
  • She is always so positive, as if she knows what will happen
  • She's so consistant on running away

And many more reasons...

I do like her though...
And she has a Australian Accent BTW =)
