I agree with you, spending a special day with her it's the best Valentine you can do

I'm fairly certain she bought me something, and so not getting anything would just be embarrassing. I will definitely take her out, I was just wondering what small gifts I could give. I guess I'll just pick up some chocolates and a card, I'm still open to suggestions though.

And Hop, we're both only 15, although I will take her out to dinner.

Tomorrow I'm going iceskating, then going to watch Bolt in 3D followed by a meal.
As for presents I'll get her roses and a card (no chocolate because she doesn't like sweet things), and I've got a few things due to arrive tomorrow morning where I will try to hand make her a bracelet, but incase that goes horribly wrong I've a store bought one as backup.

Just saying you shouldnt need a day to get her gifts n be extra nice....it's more romantic if you do it on random days every now n then. Love's not just for a day.

Hooray me, I'm seeing Slumdog Millionaire with this girl I like now. Dunno whether I can be bothered to do all the romantic crap with Valentine's cards. She's a lot like me, so I'm fairly sure she doesn't give a damn about all the silly romantic tradition on Valentine's Day.

I wont be celebrating with my potential Valentine until the day after. She's coming over to chill with me and I got her this wicked cute teddy bear. It's white and it's holding a heart with the words "Be my Valentine" written on it. Not to mention the heart is lacey which adds to the cute factor even more. Ive been prepping the place for her the whole week and I'm supa nervous!!!

It's only a marketing scheme if you let it be. If all your girl thinks about on Valentines day is what she can get out of you then I think that you should highly consider getting a new girlfriend. Any person worth their 1up mushrooms knows that Valentines day is a day you share with your special someone and the idea of making a person happy, should be a mutual thing from both parties
