Hacking V1.42 R4ids gold upgrade patch released

Hey, guys.
The r4ids team released the V1.42 R4ids gold upgrade patch on its official website a few minutes ago.
If your NDSi has been updated to V1.4.2 and your R4i GOLD 3DS card can not work on it.
You can update your R4i GOLD 3DS card with this patch.
A txt file is included,r4ids team remind users to read readme.txt attached firstly.And do as the procedures listed in readme.txt

It's really disappointing they release the 3DS version fix first when the card still works fine on the system. They should have addressed the DSi only card first. Those customers have no recourse if they have already updated (or are forced to avoid the DSi Shop).

I know it, I should have buy the R4i from the COM-Team.
I updated to 1.4.2 and borrowed a NDSL from a friend, but after
the card check it says no need to update. Then in the forum it says that it is only for the 3DS.

I don't think they will public an update for old R4i Gold.

Should I update my DSI and use the latest patch? Or is it only for new 3DS cart?

But apparently it is for the r4igold 3ds...not the r4igold. I have checked the site and they specifically state (now) its for the 3ds version.

Call me the idiot if they don't release an update for their original version cause I bought the bs too.

Hook, line and sinker on the strength of wood cause I used it prior on a dslite/akrpg... shame he cannot flex his might and pull support for his firmware now. They don't deserve ywg's wood firmware if this is the way they wanna run with it.

I'm writing this like I already know they will be f-ing us off,

I don't want to go off topic, but the acekard you'll want to get is the acekard 2i
there's acekard R.P.G and the acekard 2.1, Acekard R.P.G is discontinued, and I'm not sure if the acekard 2.1 is still in production or not

and no, the regular r4i gold will not work on the 3ds, you'll have to buy their new version (r4i gold 3ds) if you want to play it on a 3ds

No they are not. The build quality on them leaves plenty to be desired and they do not run wood firmwares.
Yeah they are a cheap alt. (emphasis on "cheap" cause I would rather spend more and not buy one). Ok you will get decent builds every now and then but I'm sick of hearing about them tbh... they get more credit than they deserve.
I've had 4 i's and 2.1... absolute shi* I think.

I agree, acekard do have shitty build, but akaio is superior to wood and the acekard team is way more reliable than some clone team

Well, Im trying to stay on topic, and I want the BEST alternative to R4i-Gold, What is the hands down best cards with 100% upgradable to new FW's track record. I hate buying a new card everytime a new FW comes out.
