Is UWUVCI compatible with Aroma?

A Wii inject I tried worked, but none of the GameCube ones do, they all say the boot.dol is missing.

I assume it's an issue with Nintendont not being set up properly, but I installed it through UWUVCI by specifying the location of my SD.

I don't know much about this, but the file structure it created seems more Tiramisu-like to me. Do I need to install it differently somehow? Is UWUVCI's method not compatible with Aroma?

Yes this is pretty much what UWUVCI is doing and it doesn't seem to work. Aroma doesn't have anything else in a root "app" folder, can it read this over there?
What folders do you have? Try naming the Nintendont folder with small case ("nintendont"), sometimes it may fail because of that I think.

My SD normally doesn't have an "app" folder at root. Other apps are in wiiu/apps.

I've tried with both "Nintendont" and "nintendont", both at root and in the wiiu folder, nothing works. Do I need to have installed something else?

I'm having a similar issue. May I ask, are you using redNAND? Are your GC injects installed to NAND, or USB?

You're going to need Nintendont for UWUVCI to work, so you need to hack the vWii and download Nintendont.
wii.hacksdotguide/vwii-homebrew-channel.html (replace the dot with a .)
So UWUVCI doesn't actually install Nintendont, it just forwards its functionality to the Wii U menu if it is already installed on the vWii, correct? (I was under the impression it was standalone)

Nintendon't is an app for the original Wii so what UWUVCI is doing is making a forwarder to it.

Yes, you have to hack the Wii to get Nintendont. I don't know any other way to get Nintendont without hacking the vwii

No, I just have Aroma.

Yes I am using redNAND, and the injects are installed to NAND (from a second FAT32 where I store the installers).
So, I've determined that GC VC injects are specifically incompatible with redNAND, and I don't know of a workaround. All Wii VC, vWii VC injects, and/or GC injects can see neither the SD card nor any USB unless physically installed to internal NAND without redirection. This isn't a problem for most vWii VC injects, but it blocks all GC VC injects from working.

If anyone knows of a workaround allowing GC VC injects to work on redNAND, please share.

I replicated this. Hacked the vWii and installed nintendont, but the same issue persists, with the inject being in the NAND (with no other option for installation available).

(I have only tried UWUVCI, not TeconMoon)

Tested it with TeconMoon too. I get the same "boot.dol not found" error, just localized differently.

I have the same issue but I'm using SDUSB and just in case you're also using that... The author said SDUSB doesn't support Gamecube injects. I hope it gets fixed

where do u have nintendont at?
apps/Nintendont. The vWii sees it.

I'm using redNAND on an SD card with two partitions, one having the internal Wii U memory and the other the homebrew with a FA32 format. Which author? Do you have a link? Nintendont itself generally works on the vWii (but it doesn't recognise the Wiimotes for some reason so I can only play with plugged-in controllers).
