I found a bug with the bfstm decoder. When decoding any of the background tracks from Mario Maker it creates unplayable files when the source file is larger then approx 9mb. It still spits out what appears to be a normal sized wav file but it wont play in any of the media players I tried. Under 9mb source files work perfectly.

I just came across crediar's post here:-
Well there is a bit of a roundabout way.
First you need to go here https://tagaya.wup.shop.nintendo.net/tagaya/versionlist/EUR/EU/latest_version you might want to replace EUR/EU with USA/US or JAP/JP.
Then take the version number and go here: https://tagaya.wup.shop.nintendo.net/tagaya/versionlist/EUR/EU/list/977.versionlist
It's a simple XML file just search for the title ID you want to know the latest version from.
and just wondered if there might be a way Uwizard could incorporate this XML file into the "NUS Downloader U" section so that the game updates list would always be up to date?

Just thought it would be nice if I could simply select my update region and then it would download the latest title update list directly from Nintendo's servers.

I'm sorry I dissaperared for a while. This is what I was spending every bit of my free time on. Uwizard 1.2.0 should be done soon.

Also, here a fun pic to describe me right now:

Hi,
I've extracted Assassin's Creed 4, and am left with a WUD file and a KEY file.
Does the KEY file contain the Title Key? If so, how do I open it to see what it is?
If it doesn't contain the Title Key, can someone please PM me with it?

Thanks all in advance. Lovin' the Wii U scene right now!!!

Rename the ".key" file to ".bin"

Your welcome, I learned it by just guessing since it can be hard to get answers here.

Yeah, what ihateu3 said. Also, if the key is wrong, it will crash when extracting, otherwise it should work. (Unless your wud is bad, but that's unlikely.) If the key doesn't work, tell me and I'll try to get you the right one. :)

@Mr. Mysterio
So, what happened to your big plans about cheat code support and all that good stuff integrated into UWizard? :P
I don't blame you, it was a big claim you made back then anyway. It's a bunch of hard work that takes a while either way.

What happened was I got distracted with a different project. Anyway, I've mostly finished that project now, and I'm back to working on Uwizard. It's not really that much work to do compared to other things I've done. The things remaining for me to do are:

Debug cheat handler.
Program memory viewer internals.
Debug the search window.
Create a new settings.bin version to hold the new gecko settings.
Either figure out how the disassembler in Gecko dotNET works, or just leave that feature out of Uwizard 1.2.0
Review this whole thread for any suggestions or bugs I should fix that I missed or forgot about.

The hard part of communicating back and forth with pyGecko works perfectly!
For anyone who thinks these are just wilds claims, here is some pseudo-proof:

NOTE: The cheat code window isn't quite finished, hence all the blank space.

I can't wait for it to be released! If you update the source code before pushing the latest version, I'll make sure to translate the text before release :P
I'm sorry to say that Uwizard 1.2.0 will not support other languages for the gecko part. Other parts should still be the same. I need to rethink my whole system for including multiple languages. This one is very flawed. Hopefully 1.2.1 will have multiple language support for Gecko.

Although, if there are any errors in the current version's translation, I will fix them. Even if you've already told me about them, I have probably forgotten, so please just post the errors here again.

It's cool, whatever you do to get the multi languages system better, I'll make sure that the french translation is properly done :)

Thanks! I'm planning to make the language files external so that anyone can make new ones and share and use them without me needing to add them to the source!

Will Uwizard 1.2.0 have WUX format support?
What are WUX files? I've never heard of them.

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

OK, I now know what they are, but I'm not going to add support for those in the next version. However, support for WUX may make it into 1.2.1. :)

I usually do not make requests in software, but is there any way that you could fix extraction for games with updates on them? I am still unable to extract Hyrule warriors with uwizard. I have extracted it with other programs, but think I did not extract the correct area as it did not work. I just prefer the simplicity of your program over trying to extract with other progs and figure everything out.

What do you mean games with updates on them?
