Hacking Using wad creator to get rid of preloader

Could you use the new wad creator 1.0 and make a wad of the system menu.
And would reinstalling the system menu wad get rid of preloader? without having to downgrade then upgrade back?

Or would it not work because preloader renames the system menu to something else?

you could simply use NUSDownlaoder to get a systemmenu.wad.

What version do i want?
0000000100000002 Thats the file i can enter in but what version?
Im on 4.0U


If i just enter the file name it gives me version 417 automatically.

Is that what 4.0U uses?


I assume installing it will remove preloader but will also remove the patched IOS60 is that correct?

I can just reinstall that patched iso and still be exactly where i was before except for no preloader?

Also will i need to reinstall cios36 rev 10 or will that be untouched?
