Hacking Using USB Loader GX vwii crashes

When I launch USB Loader GX, choose my wii title, the screen goes black and kicks me back to the homebrew launcher screen.

I'm using a usb. Used wii backup manager to install
I've already re installed clios 249 250 251 and IOS 236.

Yeah...a usb stick/flashdrive/pendrive is not recommended for the wii u because it is bus powered.
