As you all may or may not've noticed, every once in a while some noob with a post count of 1 or 2 will post for help in the News section.

Some of them go "oops, I didn't know", but it's CLEARLY marked as "News", not "DS Support".

For example:
http://gbatemp.net/index.php?showtopic=222757
http://gbatemp.net/index.php?showtopic=218488

etc etc

I'm suggesting maybe a 20-25 post count requirement before one can make a topic in the News section.

Not that big of a deal, but it'd help keep the News section a tad bit cleaner.

Nay.
Easily done by reporting said thread and waiting for a mod to move/lock/delete it.
This, is all it comes down to. These posts do not appear often enough to require such a measurement. It's way easier to just report and move on and let the mods do their job.

Also, sometimes interesting people show up that start posting news the moment they sign up. That almost never happens, but still, it'd suck for those people if they had to make 20 posts before they could post news. Unless of course their only reason to post news is to increase their epeen.
