UsendMii is a Windows (32-bit and 64-bit) and Mac OS X software that will let use your Wii U GamePad on your computer.

    How To Use

    • Choose an available port for the web server. By default port 80 is used.
    • Map the GamePad buttons to the wanted keys.
      • Left-click on the button to detect the input (keyboard or mouse).
      • Right-click on the button to show a pop-up menu. The Clear, Detect and Mouse option could be used to set a key.
    • Click on the Start button.
    • Open the Wii U Internet Browser and use the URL shown in UsendMii (URL to use in the WII U Internet Browser).
    • You may need to click on the Refresh button each time UsendMii starts.
    Video

    • Use the same steps as above.
    • Choose a Video Folder where MP4 videos are stored.
    • Add /video to the URL used above.
    • On the Wii U Gamepad click on the video you want to view.
    How Does It Work

    • UsendMii is a HTTP server that delivers Web content to the Wii U Internet Browser software.
    • The Internet Browser uses specialized JavaScript to obtain button states of the GamePad.
    • The button states are converted to JSON and sent via a POST request to UsendMii.
    • When received, UsendMii will simulate keystrokes, mouse motions, or button clicks.
    vJoy (virtual joystick)

    • Download vJoy from the Official Site.
    • Read the How to Install steps.
    • Before launching UsendMii Configure the vJoy Device. UsendMii will pick the first device that is available. Only buttons and axes (X, Y, Z, Rx, Ry and Rz) are supported.
    • Launch UsendMii and Calibrate the vJoy Device in the Game Controllers (joy.cpl) Properties.
    • Configure your games to use the proper vJoy Device.

Video streaming works like a charm, really nice.

This could be really promising , I just tried mortal kombat , I was able to get the kicks to work ........this thing needs alot of help though ...the button pressing seems to get cross refferenced , what I mean is , some buttons work on the game , while others take over like I'm only using the game pad as a web browser/wiiu contoller

Problem solved, the fix will be included in next release (version 0.0.5). The only thing I needed to do was to read the Range field in the HTTP Request header

Any chance this app could be ported to android for use with emulators? I current can do it using my PC as a middle man (wifikeyboard) but i would like to remove the unneeded middle man.

Nice work, but is there any plans of sending XInput messages in Windows instead of keystrokes?

I am sorry to ask this again but I really want to use it. Will this void my wii u's warranty? I'm not downloading anything on it but I am kind of nervous so..

Hello, I'm not a lawyer but I would say that opening a special web page in the Wii U Web Browser is 100% legal :) Nothing will be changed on the Wii U.

Hello, I was hoping that vJoy would support this one day. It would be a lot easier for me if I have nothing to code ;)

A small issue I'm having, when I try to send a mouse click, it often spams the click before holding.
I've gotten around it by just rebinding my mouse-click things in the games that need it, but I could see a few games that don't have that option.

No idea where to even begin helping you find out why I'd have this bug, (assuming it's not everyone getting it) so feel free to tell me what I should send your way to help. :v
