Hi,
I've followed xzxero's guide on modding my Wii. I'm using USBLoaderGX in conjunction w/ the Seagate FreeAgent Desk 1TB 7200 RPM USB 2.0 Hard Drive. According to this compatibility list (http://wiki.gbatemp.net/wiki/index.php?title=USB_Devices_Compatibility_List#1TB), there are some that don't have to employ workaround's to get it to work properly. For instance, if I power my Wii on w/ the HDD plugged in, I am unable to have USBLoaderGX connect to it. It tells me that my USB connection is slow, and after a :30 second countdown, it returns me to the HBC. I've tried both USB ports, and I've also read in these forums that I'm using the proper port on the Wii now. However, the only way I am able to access the HDD is to power on the Wii w/ the HDD unplugged. I then start the HBC, plug in the HDD, and fire up USBLoaderGX. At this point, it accesses the HDD w/out any problems. I was told that the Forwarder was created to avoid problems such as this. I've installed it using Priiloader, but when I turn the Wii on, it goes directly to the :30 second countdown, then brings me back to the HBC. Frankly, I'm not even sure that I'm using the proper Forwarder for use w/ Priiloader (http://usbloadergx.koureio.net/downloads/forwarders). Any help on this subject would be great. Thank you.
Jeff
