Hi, I'm discovering the joys of owning a Wii in the year of 2026. Better late than never. Been playing the NTSC Virtual Console version of Star Fox 64 a bunch, and there's this annoying audio distortion that's hard to ignore throughout the game, like the audio is crackling. It's most noticable in the end credits. This video I found on youtube shows it off as well, so I know the issue isn't just on my end: (45:56 in case the timestamp doesn't work) I was surprised how nobody online seems to have discussed this over the years. Has anyone else noticed this or similar issues on other n64 VC releases? Is the cause known? Out of curiosity, I did try the PAL Lylat Wars release, and the audio was perfectly fine in that one.

You will only notice visually if you have your covers assigned. - When you launch the emulator from USB, games/art on the device will be ignored if a SD card is also inserted with the same Z-GX folder structure. SD will be prioritized. - When you launch the emulator from USB, and there is a SD card inserted without the Z-GX folder structure present, it will DSI crash. - 12 seconds pause before the game starts booting, affects build 20260811B. - Cover files do not load when you start the emulator from a USB device, yet it will load them if a SD card with the files is inserted before emulator launch. Hacking USBloader GX PAL version on NTSC Wii

I'm looking for information on a list of confirmed PAL version games that work on an NTSC unit. I bought a PAL game from a friend in Scotland which does not work in the drive so I backed it up and ran it through USB LoaderGX and enabled the "force NTSC". It works great. I have been warned that it is dangerous to use PAL games on my machine? Why? Is there a list of confirmed working PAL games on USBloader GX without extra programs installed but USB loader GX?

as long as your using a usb loader mate and its running from usb device and you so no to any updates in the game you will be fine i have pal and tsc games on my hardrive mate and i run a pal machine
