I would assume so. I have wanted one of these for a while, but no one was selling them anymore.

Luckily, after you made this post, I decided to look again, and I found a U.S. retailer that is selling leftover stock!

I just ordered one, so I guess that we will have a definitive answer Soon™!

That looks like SD to USB. Not the way you have it titled. I'd be interested to see transfer times. Use a windows tool to format your drive. Third party, not windows itself. It won't allow you to format external USB HDs to fat32 over a certain size

Now I'm intrigued. I ordered one of these. I'll post results

Well... they mention 2 important things in the Summary:

1- MicroSD TF to SD Memory Card Kit to USB Flash Disk Adapter Card Adapter Support 128GB
(Support 128GB Max. Micro SD/SDHC memory card) IF THIS IS THE MAX SUPPORT THERE NO NEED TO BYU IT, BECAUSE THERE ARE MICRO SD AND SD CARD OF 256GB.

2- Micro SD to SD + Micro SD to USB Flash Disk adapter
IS VERY CLEAR THIS IS MICRO SD OR SD TO USB, NOT USB TO SD, SO THERE ARE NO NEED TO BYU IT.

Looks like it would work to me, although it's micro sd, probably would fit into an adapter, and then into the wii u.

I saw that, but they also said this:
However, it is warranted upon delivery to be free of defect and will be refunded or replaced as long as stock is available. We will continue stocking Mobidapters for as long as there is demand and inventory. We encourage anyone who has used a Mobidapter to add a review to this product page, along with any tips for its use.

It states that it only goes up to 32GB. I'll be interested to see how far you can push it as well. (I might have to import one if it can go pretty high)

Nintendo also states that their platforms only support up to 32 GB SD cards, but what it really means is that they support any size as long as the SD card that is being used is formatted to FAT32.

I am currently using a 128 GB MicroSD card in my Wii U and 64 GB SD cards in my 3DSs.

So I got this today. It's opposite of what we are looking for. It's just an SD adapter. It adapts micro SD to full size SD and also USB. So you can use it as a regular micro to full size adapter or you can use it as a USB card reader for you computer. That's okay, it was cheap and I like having lots of adapters.

Thanks for trying it.
