Crap! I got my Wi-fi USB for about AU$49.95 from JB Hi-fi, Australia.

That's a misconception. My computers and DS share internet side-by-side.

Oh, and by the way, if your router is hacked easily, then DON'T LET IT BE HACKED EASILY! Encrypt the connection with a WEP key, have a dynamic IP address (which is automatically changed every so often), have a really wacky subnet mask and gateway IP, use the MAC Address filter on your router, etc, etc... a router is not a bad piece of hardware, so don't go saying something sucks because you're lazy to change any settings.
