Currently, I use the most recent version of Loader GX, with cIOSes installed on 249, 250, and 251.
I have a Wii with BootMii (unfortunately) on IOS with Priiloader.
Letterbombed 4.3U Wii with HBC 1.1.2, and a custom Wii Menu theme.
16GB Flash Drive for games. (I understand flash drives are not recommended but it's the only good one I have, I have a 64GB flash drive but it's write speeds are almost a joke, and I don't have $50-100 lying around for a good USB HDD. And no, I don't have UNEEK working because of "Reloading BootMii IOS" error.)
I'm wondering if I should stick with Loader GX or switch to WiiFlow or CFG.
Also, I'm confused on how the EmuNAND thing works.
I don't know if I put the main NAND folders (title, shared2, etc) on the "nand" folder or do I put the NEEK folders (nands, sneek) there.
(And if you were wondering, yes I have Nintendont.)

the loader choice is your own choice.
Most have the same features, it's only a different look.
USBLoaderGX has neek and neek2o launching options, which I think other loaders don't have.

saying you installed "something" in slot 249/250/251 is useless, you could have installed old or wrong things inside.
be sure you install d2x v8 final (on wii), or d2x v10 r52 (on vWii). never use v10 r53 as it doesn't work with emuNAND.

I guess the base is the common setup (249/250/251 respectively base56/57/58?).

Flash are not recommended, unless it works fine.
If you don't have any problem with this device, then it's fine to use it :)
the "don't use flash" recommendation is because most flash are not working with cIOS, games are not launching at all and the loader reboots the console, or doesn't even detect the partition or games on it, etc.
if it works, don't worry about it.

as for the emuNAND:

Quick answer:
put (title, shared2, etc.) in the /nand/ folder,
put /sneek/ folder on root or your SD and/or USB (same partition than your /nand/ folder),
put bootmii files into the sd:/bootmii/ folder.

detailed answer:
the best is to not worry, because you let the loader do its job.
if you plan to use neek2o (you should), then go to settings>user path>emuNAND Channel folder : edit the NAND path from /nand/ to add a subfolder : /nands/nand1/

neek2o seems to require the main folder to be "nands" and that another subfolder is used per nand copy. (you can have more than one, for example one per console regions)

once you set your emuNAND folder in the settings, then let the loader dump your console's nand content into that folder :
settings> features > dump nand > full > into emuNAND channel folder.

that's all for the "place where you put the nand".
if you want to use neek or neek2o, you need to generate the needed files externally (modmii or sneek installer) and place the files on the same partition than the nand copy, in respective folders (sneek and bootmii).
note that USBLoaderGX doesn't even use the file in bootmii folder, it's only used if you launch neek from nswitch or another neek booter.

until I rewrite it : https://gbatemp.net/posts/6592730

Ok, so fixing my "Reloading BootMii IOS" only requires to have the BootMii SD folder on my USB? (Yea)
Also, I used this (part of the) guide for cIOSes https://wii.guide/cios. Though installing emuNAND compatible cIOSes might be better (,even though I don't know which cIOSes for base 56/57/58 support emuNAND.)q [the cioses i installed do work for neek)
(Oh yea, I don't wanna be a bragger but I have 1,000 views on my Wiimmfi tutorial. https://gbatemp.net/threads/how-to-play-wiimmfi-on-wii.510577/) (why did i make this)
The d2x cIOS installer doesn't have d2x v8 final. (still not there, though I might externally install those)
Also, how do I make neek(2o) emulate an ISO or WBFS as a Disc (appears on disc channel)? (it seems it goes to the first game on your usb to emulate the drive)
Does the emuNAND channel path needs to be the same as the main emuNAND path?

probably, yes. depends if you also have bootmii IOS installed or stub.

Also, I used this (part of the) guide for cIOSes https://wii.guide/cios. Though installing emuNAND compatible cIOSes might be better
this guide's page to install the cIOS seems good.
it makes you install a cIOS compatible with emuNAND (which is r52 and NOT r53).
for info, v8 and v10r52 are identical. You don't need v8 if the install only has v10 r52 it's fine.

,even though I don't know which cIOSes for base 56/57/58 support emuNAND.
that's irrelevant.
all bases are needed, even more than these 3, as some games on emuNAND works only with base38, or only with OLD cIOS rev20 etc.
if you want to understand and setup emuNAND correctly, you'll need to read a lot and learn a lot more.

Also, how do I make neek(2o) emulate an ISO or WBFS as a Disc (appears on disc channel)? (it seems it goes to the first game on your usb to emulate the drive)
neek and neek2o are using two different methods and game format.
you should try with neek2o, which reads /wbfs/ folder and wbfs files.
press 1 or 2 on your wiimote when you are in neek mode to open the hidden menu and select the game you want to mount on your emulated disc channel.

Does the emuNAND channel path needs to be the same as the main emuNAND path?
emuNAND channel path : this is an USBLoaderGX option. It's the path used by the loader for your emuNAND and for neek.
main emuNAND path : no idea what this is. it doesn't exist. it's not an USB loader option, and it's the first time I read about "main" emuNAND path. why would there be a main and others not main ?

(taken from the gxglobal.cfg file) (it appears in the custom paths window)

don't look in raw config file.
use the user interface to edit all paths.

there are two different emuNAND path, and in the user interface they are properly named differently : save and channel.
emuNAND save is used to redirect Wii disc's savegame from Wii to external storage. (partial or full nand dump required based on specific needs)
emuNAND channel is used to launch channels (wad) installed on a copy of the NAND (emuNAND cIOS FULL or neek)

Well, from what I've heard from my parents, he had a seizure last night, perhaps an epileptic episode, fucking died, had a near death experience, my dad called the paramedics, they showed up, took him to the hospital, and he woke up covered in tubes, and started complaining.
