Hacking USB Loader with Multiple Boxart Images.

Which works fine? Page 2 or wording issue? I am on Rev9 and as far as I know, I am using your dol that had the page 2 setup (bgrear.png and with wad too). Just nothing happends.

I'm using the 3 image png with the boot dol from my zip file and it's working. I press 2 on the Wiimote and it switches to the information page.

Are you sure you have it named properly and you have the bgrear.png in the same foldr as bg.png?

regarding the wording issue, what do you mean exactly?

Just got the Page 2 issue to work.

On some of the titles I am have on my HDD... the title of the game doesn't show up properly. Maybe it is an issue with how long the title is. They work on the old style loaders with 21 titles showing. With 3 3 pic loader... the some come out with only partial titles.

Also... these ones with the page 2 look better than the ones that had the dove tail style fold for page 2. Any chance you can make an alteration to the 3 Pic Loader?

Have you got the latest download from my website? That has the 3 image png that doesn't have the folding edge. I have updated it each time so the newest images should be there. The website is here: My Site for loader


Regarding the text, not sure why it's doing that. I don't seem to have any issues with mine. Maybe it's a hard drive issue because I have big long names on mine. If I can get someone to check over this loader and update with the 7 image png then I will get them to check the info box and maybe expand it a bit to allow more text to help try resolve that issue or whatever is causing it.

The download on your site still has the dove tail version.

As for the text issue.... I am thinking that it has to do with the length of the title. All that error are the ones with giant titles. Like BROKEN SWORD: SHADOWS OF THE TEMPLAR'S.

it shouldn't now, I have made sure it's the new ones. Are you sure you haven't kept the old file. I replaced that older one a few hours ago now.

Again regarding the text I dunno what to say. I can see The House Of The Deadverkill in mine and that is fairly long, so not sure.

You will see the new images and there is a download link at the bottom to download a zip with all the stuff I have, pictures, the boot.dol, a wad for loading from a channel in the system menu.

If your still having issues with it I don't know what to do. I would suggest you remove ll the files from your sd card for this and replace them with the ones in the zip just to make sure your using the same as I am because I know they are working for me.

and he says he will take a look at the loaders to see about getting it implemented. May be a day or so, the sooner the better I say lol. But it looks like this thing will be finished shortly and it will look simply amazing. I'm happy

This thing looks sweet. Even if I have actual channels for my games, I'd almost rather have this. How does this look in widescreen though? Will it just be stretched?

I'm using it on my 43" Plasma and it looks fantastic with just the 3 image version, when the 7 images version gets done it's going to look really nice.

There were some issues earlier with the images due to cutting and pasting different stuff during editing and I couldn't see the different blacks properly so it showed on large tvs, but I went back and remade all the images again and now it's fine.

Downloaded the file from your site. It still are the old ones with the page turned (dove tail) version of the bg and bgrear. Haven't even loaded them onto the SD card. Just ran the png through photoshop. They are the old ones. Not sure what is up though. Guess ill try to redo them myself.

this has been my favorite loader from the beginning and im stickin to this one and nothin else. im gonna try out this new version and keep my fingers crossed that the images will now load for me, no matter how long its waiting for usb device. will report back, this is goin to be the future for loaders. others may have ultimate, but ultimate will be applied to this with a very slick interface, keep it up mates

usb loader asking me to format? I have a bunch of games on the drive, and its asking me to format it? I have not been able to try out the download images at all, because I can't get past the loader asking me to format. ever since that sd card was added, why would it tell me to format it, when its already formatted with a lot of games? ill ahve to wait for newer loader from here I guess, wanted to try out the download image, guess I can't do that yet.

I've started working on modfying the loader to have 7 images, its proving a bit of a pain, shouldn't take too long.

I seriously don't know what is wrong with the stuff your downloading. I have uploading the new versions and I have downloaded the file 3 times myself to check and make sure it has the new images, and it does. Even if your having problems with the download and for some reason it's not getting them properly for you, then on my website the images are there, just right click and save to your pc.

Sorry for being impatient last night. I think I was up far too late, ended up still awake at 5am this morning. I was just excited about it all and wasn't sure what was happening. I only realized last night that it tells you on here when someone is online or not and it wasn't till I had sent loads of messages that I realized it lol. So again thanks for your effort and I apologize for seeming so impatient.

Can I just confirm with you AppleBelly, that you are using the newest images that have the images centered properly now. The old image for the 7 images was off center a little so I had to fix it. Also the smaller images are now ready for the 64x90 box images.

I don't have the source on my site, just the boot.dol and image files. I will try fix that and get the original source which should be here somewhere towards the beginning of the thread, it's R3 if I remember correctly. As far as I know it requires cIOS_Rev9, but like AppleBelly has been doing it would be good to get it on the latest cIOS_Rev10 and working with the 1.4 Loader. If e can get to that stage, then it's just a case of me updating the information page and knowing exactly what features it has for that page.
