Didn't realise you had posted a similar concept mate. I don't believe any of the code did come from you. I have since posting this found your thread. Posted in it.

Anyway its not hard to do this, just duplicate the images and make one +1 and one -1 of the actual game selected. Took me at tops of an hour to do.

However, if you can provide me your background image, i'll make one without a console.

I have updated:

Grats to JussiPik for the image. Hope you don't mind me using it!

Any chance u could get the images to auto download from a site based on their names ?

http://www.theotherzone.com/wii/

The images are in by www.theotherzone.com/wii/{region}/{gameid}.png
example www.theotherzone.com/wii/pal/RXCP4Z.png

This looks class to be honest - also any way to save the games on the HD and not the SD card ?

This is principle possible, yes. The images are not compressed, so there is no need of using zlib (puh!). patchmii.c or http.c should ge tthis to work. my devkitppc does not work at all (and it won't- never!); so i am not able to try it. if you like, i could upload a "maybe-working" source with many errors... i will have a look, djtaz! But we need a FULL access to this DB ^^

version 3 is out.

New:
Small images on the left and right.
Fixed it so that when installing a game the prompts actually appear (its because the box was reduced in size).

About the smaller images. I was trying to mess around with libpng to find a way to malke the images without having to have another set, but i couldn't find a way. So i have had to create smaller versions, they are 74% smaller. Size is 119*168.

PAL Download: http://rapidshare.com/files/219725511/PAL_Small.rar.html

The smaller images are stored in [SD Root]\images\small
The format of the name is "smallxxxx.png" the xxx being the game id.

I'm going to look at ways of making the image loading even quicker, but not sure what i can do. If anyone has any thoughts on this please let me know.

Please guys mirror these links.

That wouldnt be a problem , but its a flat file system so its basically just images and text files.
I kept it this way so that loader could scan for the image and loads on here helped to put in the names.

I can give full FTP access of you require it , but as the format wont change on the game names and regions unless someone can suggest a better way for a loader to find the image.

Looks good, but I'll stay at Shizzza's one...If you have 54 Games, you don't want that only three are displayed...sorry

. But if someone could integrate this into Shizzza's loader, it would be great for displaying your Favourites. That would be the main purpose for me

. But good work though

Sorry to be a pain in the ass djtaz, can you make sure Mc users can download the small images. I'm having the same issue with them as before and just getting a load of text in a new page when I try to download them. Cheers.

The small images are in a RAR file - so in this case i dont know how to resolve it for macs unless i zip it and re-upload it.
You need Rar Expander to read it : http://mac.softpedia.com/get/Compression-T...-Expander.shtml
