Mine is set to wimages_path and it works fine for me, weird.

Im sorry your totally right, mine was only working because it didn't recognize wimage_path=SD:/wimages/ as a real config and defaulted to the right folder. So it should me:

wimages_path=SD:/wimages/

Is it just me or is this info not in the sample config file that comes in the rar?

i deleted all that was requested, the box that contains the list of games is all messed up on the left, and yeah i do have covers for my games, as i have them already in the images folder on the root of the sd card. the wimages folder contains the wbg.pmg and before that it contained the palbg.pmg. The loader still looks like its very old with all the old settings, and accessing b changes the language. Im not a noob at this as ive done the same to my mates wii correctly and ive read read read.

Is it pmg or png? also you need widescreen box art in the wimages folder, the images folder is only used in 4:3 mode now, I never called you a noob, I tried nothing but to help.

you have no path for wimages

wimages_path=SD:/wimages/

it needs to be:

wimage_path=SD:/wimages/

not:

winages_path=SD:/wimages/

I know its inconsistent but thats straight out of my working
config file

That information is given in the Config guide in the first post...

ok the new version works well, but now we need a new config

we have to temes normal an wide so we need 2 configs

console_coords
covers_coords

and

wconsole_coords = 40,98,350,286
wcovers_coords = 482,136

because when you set the cords for custom wBG the same coord will be use for normal bg....

heres a weird problem. whenever i hit the home button during a usbloader game and select "wii menu", it shuts off the wiimote, but the wii stays on, and i have to hold the power button on the wii so shut it down. it happens a lot with animal crossing and a few other games. any ideas?

Yes i thought this a bit odd, it auto sets ws or normal but you co-ords would not be same for both screens which would be wrong.

That would only make things even more confusing.
I really don't see why there should be seperate options for widescreen

I see but check the file you link to! it says:

#
# wimage_path = [SD:/wimages/]
#
# Path must be SD:/dirname/ (with a trailing slash at the end)
#
# Path to put widescreen box arts and widescreen background
#
wimage_path=SD:/wimages/
#
#

So you could see how this is getting confusing. Also I was meaning the sample that is included in the rar.

why it would be confusing when we have to coords?

we have 2 themes so we nee 2 coords like

console_coords
covers_coords

and

wconsole_coords
wcovers_coords

we have to configs for other suff too like wimage_path and image_path why we couldnt have 2 coord config???

i use my wii o more then one tv (its a party wii ;-)) and i use costum theme so i need to coords one for my custom wbg and costum normal bg

My bad. Here is the correct config readme. It would be nice if wiishizzza could put it in the first port =)
