No same deals, greenscreens on any force mode using NTSC TR: Anniversay and Madworld

Thanks for the quick reply though.

I am not familiar with PAL thing, but other people said my earlier loader have the PAL problem fixed.

Would you mind testing my earlier loader?

I will get back to you after dinner.

Nope that version also greenscreens on those games also.

I think it's something to do with WiiPowers force modes.
Narolez's V4 works fine, but i really want the ocarina toggle and stuff you did haha........hmmm

I can remove wiipower's force mode, but I guess it would introduce another PAL bug?

How about implementing Narolez's Pal force mode but keep WiiPowers Force for NTSC.

I think Narolez's one is just use disc region..... so maybe make PAL force use disc region and NTSC WiiPowers one.

I'm not a coder so im not sure how that/if that could work.

Worth a shot though.

or or or

Make a new force option, so button 1 could be region as it is now but the options it gives are.

Force PAL WiiPower's version, Force NTSC WiiPowers Version, Disc Region (Narolez's) and Default

Because as you said yeh this wiipoer one works for some and not others, so having a third option would be probably great

Can someone tell me if there is any advantage of using default video settings?

I am currently trying to make button 1 as video option and button 2 as ocarina option.

I prefer default video setting, it means I have no region issues ever as my display supports both PAL and NTSC.
Default mode switches the video to that of the game.
Certain PAL games like Wii Music do not work at all with NTSC video mode, so although my console is set to NTSC when I boot wii music in a loader that auto switches the video mode such as the original waninkoko version it switches automatically to PAL.
If I try it by forcing NTSC then I just get a green screen.
If your display can do PAL and NTSC then default is the way to go.

I'm not sure what the default mode on your loader is doing, but my PAL wii music gets a green screen when i use it, so you must be using the video mode of the console, which means i'm going to have to manually force PAL to get it to work. IMHO the default mode should auto switch like the original loader does.

@chr0m

Some game from other regions don't work like that too so you have to force.

My TR Anniversay/Underworld and Madworld greenscreen unless forced to pal..... but only Narolez's one works for me atm.

I'm hoping Hungyip can implement that one as a 4th option under video modes

HUNGYIP84 -

Heres Narolez's V4 including Source, maybe just add his PAL force option as a 4th option under video modes on yours...... that would be amazing.

Call it Force PAL 2 or something

I need some clarification:

On Narolez's v4 loader, ppl mention about an existing bug. That bug got fixed after I added wiipower's fix. Is that a force NTSC bug or a force PAL bug?

I don't know about that..........

i'm saying just make an extra option under Button 1 that uses Narolez's PAL force mode.

so keep Wiipowers stuff cos some people say it works. Just add another mode

Force NTSC did not work for me, I can tell you now force NTSC boots up more PAL games . I could not run Spiderman3 PAL before but now works.

How do I get covers to show with this loader? Great setup, I love it and so do my grand daughters but if I could get the covers to show, it would be that much easier for them.

Tx

WiiShizza -

Can you please make the bg.png on your first page work for the newest Hungyip version with

Button 1 - Change Region

Button 2 - Ocarina on/off

D-pad = Scroll

B = Language

A = Start Game

+/- = Install/Uninstall

this isn't working for me is there a special forwarder wad you need? cos the one i'm using i go to load it says WHAT? in the top left corner (yes it does) and than drops back to hbc?!! i have boot.dol in \apps\usbloaderMod\ and bg.png in \apps\usbloaderMod\images

Okay, this is another try

I have updated my loader. Removed further confirmation about ocarina

Force NTSC - use wiipower's code
Force PAL - use fishears code

Please let me know if there is any issues this time

Thank for very much for all the testing effort!

That still does the same thing as before when using any video mode........greenscreens all around.

The only one that's ever worked is the Narolez one when forcing PAL

Try using his PAL code..... thanks for all the recompiles.... i would just add Narolez's verion of PAL Force to a 4th option.

I am having a similar problem to kongsnutz. I have a PAL madworld that i want to force NTSC, i am using UsbLoaderMod 4v and all i get is a pink screen. I tried it again with a different usb loader with NTSC froce, i cant remember the name, but it loaded with color and was fluctuating up and down all over the screen.
Any Ideas???
