No, there no black bars left and right, only in the bottom. I saw, that the preloader has this black bar too? Because the settings, what it shows are not at the bottom, they are a bit higher. Is that problem with all Homebrew Apps? It can be, I think, because some Apps like WAD-Manager are only in black, so I see it not!?

/edit Can a 16x9 background and some coordinate settings fix that problem? When no, you should make a Version, whats normal shows above the background a black bar, so it can look "ok".

WiiShizza, I just checked the front page of this thread and read the features, sounds fantastic. I also see that you can set most of the style and stuff using the config. My question is, where you can change the boxart coordinates, can this be expanded to add more than one boxart? I would like to use it with my background I designed, but they use 7 images, so if it could handle more than one image for the games then it would be perfect.

To use this new background properly, add following lines to your config.txt

console_coords=40,71,340,290
console_color=7,15
covers_coords=446,109

using these setting im still getting a black bar along bottom of my widescreen tv ? can someone plz share me with their config txt plz !

I don't get a black bar, but the AR is wrong on widescreen monitors as it is just stretching a 4:3 image. So the covers look a bit fatter than they should be.

dont get me wrong , its not the worse thing in the world , and is still working great ! there was never a problem before , but maybe i just didnt notice ! more excited about the gui lol

I have implented this in the Ultimate v6.7 source.
It never downloads automatic, you have to choose game an then choose to download.

What exactly does "savesettings=0,1" do in the config ?

is 16x9 working ANYWHERE yet ?

There are MANY conflicting thigns being said around here, and it is near impossible to keep it straight (nor can I ever remember what thread something is said in when it comes to loaders

)

Great work all, just VERY disjointed when it comes to keeping track (post on first page is ok, but not much in the way of read-me's)

you need cios10 only for 1.4, if I'm right....
as it's true with that USB bug in cios rev10.

cios rev11 is in the making, I believe.

I'm running v6.7 btw

It works like this (checked and confirmed just now).

You go to the game you want to "edit" you do the settings change in the loader and BOOT the game, then it writes the settings.cfg to SD.

Next time you boot the loader it automatically loads the settings for that game.

Following this thread since page 1, nice work!

No offense, but wouldn't it be a little bit early to implement parental controls? Maybe you should implement categories and make 1 category hide able with all forbidden games, would be easier to implement (in my opinion) and you have 2 features at once. just my 2 cents

In the first page.... I downloaded the 6.7v...
In it the config_sample.txt file says...

# savesettings = 0 [1]
# 0 => settings for each game are not saved to HDD and not laoded at loader startup
# 1 => settings for each game are saved to HDD and loaded at loader startup
savesettings = 1

We need to change "HDD" to "SD"

They recommend 3.2. But I´m on 4.0 by Waninako´s Firmware Updater 4.0, so I have the 4.0 functions and all is working like on 3.2.
