I've searched pretty thoroughly using basic and advanced search and reads tons upon tons of guides including FAQ's, tutorials, quizzes etc. so if I missed this I sincerely appologise but I cannot find the solution anywhere. Here it goes...
Recently, after having a soft-modded wii on 4.0E, I wanted to get back to playing my Wii so I thought it appropriate to update all my software/loaders/IOS's etc. so I came on to the forums and used a this (http://gbatemp.net/index.php?showtopic=171901) guide to mod my Wii up to 4.2 and prepare it with all the latest IOS's and whatever. So essentially the guide went off without a hitch and it's all working dandy, except for a few things to do with USB loader/s.
For the most part, it seems to occur probably... half the time. What will happen is irrespective of the IOS (222, 223 and 249) and the loader (USB Loader GX, uLoader, neogamma r7/r8) some games I'm loading that previously worked fine are ceasing to work at all. Oddly enough the game seems to boot, I can hear the controller syncing, yet I get no video output, it just remains on the black screen. There are no error messages and/or sounds after the game "loads" but obviously as I mentioned you can hear/see the controller syncing. This happens on Wii Sports Resort (I've played the game to death, the save file is there), Mario Kart Wii, Family Party: 30 Games and a few other games I've tried to load.
However, oddly enough some of the more challenging games seem to load without error, ie. Guitar Hero 5 with all components working.
Does anyone have any suggestions or recommendations I can make? I'm using IOS222/223 v4 from Hermes and IOS 249 rev14 from waninkoko.
Thanks in advance for your help, I'll try to keep everyone posted or edit the main post with a solution should it be found so all can see how to fix it should they be experiencing the same errors.
