set up is 249v19 , 222v5 all the games load with cfg loader

Didn't r-win just say that GX doesn't have IOS222v5 support yet? And i think it doesn't have FAT/NTFS support via Waninkoko cIOS either.

Yes, I said that

Yes, disable parental controls in your Wii Settings menu. USB GX uses those settings.

GX supports rev5, but FAT32 loading with rev5 is broken in GX.

rev5 doesn't work for me in GX v921, and I use solely WBFS. If I try choose CIOS222 or 223, GX warns me that only v4 is supported.

I'm not sure why the changelog for GX says v5 support was added?

Because it was added, and seemed to work. Another bug, however, made sure that our tests where faulty. So, rev5 support was added, but it does not work.

No answer ?
Why is r918 and above = screen freeze or wii reboot, while r916 works perfectly ?

cIOSrev 19.
Neogamma also works flawlessly...
Well, that must be the new Ocarina. Have you enabled ocarina globally? Or enabled it for the games you've tried? If so, try disabling it and test again.

That's right !

Global Ocarina "on" = crash / reboot / freeze

"off" is ok and "per game" setting is ok.
I can cheat in a game if I enable it for this game...

Nobody told this bug before ?

And by the way : some dowloaded .TXT codes give "out of range" in cheat selection

even if cheats above can be made in a GCT (just tried "Dead Space Extraction" and I choose "infinite ammo" whereas some cheats are out of range after this one...

Thanx John Ice

Now I have 222 v4 for USB Loader GX and 223 v5 for uLoader (for NAND emu for RB2). All woking well

Anyone else having issues with "No New Updates" when trying to updated online? I know I'm not at the most recent version, so I updated manually (downloaded from the Google code site) and now I'm up to date, but this happened twice doing that.

Just curious.

You need to enable Beta updates each time.

this is the first time , i am using it , when turn it on , pick a partition , NTFS

IT Stack dumps.. on me

I am using CIOS REV14 AND herm ver 4 222/223

Just installed Hermes v5 (222 base 38) and Waninkoko rev19 (base 57). I know Hermes v5 support is non-existant, as it warns me about it and I read this thread.

I have all the games set, globally, to use IOS249. I have a 1TB hard drive with a single, active FAT32 partition with a wbfs folder. All games are WBFS files (2GB split for compatibility). Two issues. (1) No covers and I don't see anywhere to download them, (2) games do not work. Loads up to a black screen with weird green lines on the top 3 or 4 rows, usually followed by a core dump.

Everything works just fine with cfgUSB and IOS249, no issues so far (haven't even tried Hermes v5 in cfgUSB yet). So I'm wondering why USBLoader GX isn't working with rev19 (base 57).

Any help is appreciated. Also, I'm on 4.2U, no other problems.

Edit: Using 921.dol. Ocarina is disabled (no cheats locally for it to even use). This happens with any game.

FINAL EDIT: Sorry, nevermind. I just realized FAT32 was broken in GX right now, even with Waninkoko's. Thanks and keep up the good work on the loader! For now I have to stick with CFGLoader.

FAT32 is not broken. cIOS 222 v5 is, use v4 if you want FAT32

Oh. Well then my question remains. I'm not using Hermes at all. I'm using ciosx rev19 (as IOS249). It sees the hard drive, mounts the games in the wbfs folder, but will crash when I attempt to play them. Anyone know why?

yeah im having the exact same issue actually, wanted to start moving my stuff to fat32, and i use gx, but alas none of my games load no matter what cios i use, either i get what you described (black screen and green lines at the top) or it brings me to the hbc for some odd reason (i dont even use the hbc to launch it)

I think that USB LOADER GX uses anyway HERMES CIOS for FAT so it should explain your trouble

Using a Seagate Freeagent 1tb Silver HDD.

No matter what version of USB Loader GX I use or any revision of Cios I have to unplug the HDD power cable before starting USB Loader GX and re-connect it when it says 'waiting for usb device.' Or else it won't be found.

After this everything works fine.

Anyway to get this drive to show without unplugging?

My mate has the 500gb version of this drive and has no problems like this.

is the HDD constantly powered even if the Wii is off? if so it could be a sign of spindown/sleep issues..

if your HDD is off and you only power it on when you use the wii and all is good then it could be a sure sign it is a spindown/sleep in the HDD
