Hacking USB Loader GX

New to the forum. i have my wii modded with hombrew and the usb loader v 1.4 how do i get gh5 and all the newer games to load up on the wii im also having issues with alot of the newer games like ghost busters ,madden 2010, wii sports resort none of these will load i cant even play the original copy of gh5. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Ok first off if you are using usb loader 1.4 then you need to go to the first page and on the first post at the bottom fine where it says DOL and click on it to download usbloader gx v718 and use the HBC to run it.
Next you may need cios38 249v14 which can be found here http://www.teknoconsolas.es/blogs/waninkoko It is in spanish so use google to translate it.
Next you might want cios 222 from uloader which can be found here http://www.elotrolado.net/hilo_utilidad-ul...-idioma_1217626 Just download it and install the cios 222 and delete the rest.
When runing usbloader gx when it is unlocked and you click on a game you will see a settings button which will let you turn on the 002 fix for games like ghost busters. For Wii sports Resort if you have the disk just run it to get past the instructional video, and then it should load fine. If you don't have the disk just go in to the game setting and select dol from disk and on the nest line pick the dol file. After the video remove the load dol from disk. I don't have madden 2010 and I can't get Guitar Hero 5 to work. I hope this helps.

Congratulations and thanks for your great job.

In the last version (rev718), the renaming game menu (keyboard) is still buggy: flashing and delay before reacting.

The HBC function is great because shows all sub directories in the selected directory (even sub sub directories, not like HBC).

Well after trying every thing I could thank of I removed the skip disk update on preloader to find that Guitar Hero 5 has a newer update then 4.1U. I looked on the disk image and it says system menu 385. So maybe the update is just for ios updates. So I will wait for Waninkoko to come out with a safe way of doing these updates. If some one know any thing more please let us know thanks.

Well after trying every thing I could thank of I removed the skip disk update on preloader to find that Guitar Hero 5 has a newer update then 4.1U. I looked on the disk image and it says system menu 385. So maybe the update is just for ios updates. So I will wait for Waninkoko to come out with a safe way of doing these updates. If some one know any thing more please let us know thanks.

FYI, preloader hacks can interfere with USB loading...try turning them all OFF.

Also, GH5 runs fine with cIOS222 installed as 37 merge 36. No need to install any updates or IOS. If you are getting a blackscreen when trying with 222 as the individual game boot IOS, try deleting your config files and set cIOS 222 (installed as 37 merge 36) as your global boot. You will not lose ANY compatibility with cIOS 222.

Keep in mind that you have to restart the loader for a global cIOS change to take effect, otherwise you will just get a blackscreen. That means change the setting, exit the loader, then start the loader again and try your game. It is necessary to delete BOTH the GXglobal.cfg file AND the GXgamesettings.cfg file. The game settings file will override anything set in the global file.

Also, when re-installing cIOS 222, make sure you delete any 000000001 folder on your SD card before starting. If you do not delete this folder you will get errors.

Well that did the trick I run the uloader 3.0 cios 222 38 marge with 37 and it worked great. Thanks for all the help I could have been waiting along time from a update that would never come. Keep up the good work and I can't wait to see what giantpune is going to come out with next on this usb loader gx.
Just something I did when I compiled rev 719 was to lock the id changer button so that the kids could not change the game id's. I hope this dose not sound like I don't like the added option, because I do. I just thank that it shoud be locked. Thanks again!

cIOS222 rev4 has been released. I don't recommend installing it at this time since it hasn't been tested with GX yet. Once I get out of work today and install/test it I will post my results here on the board. If everything works fine, I'll add it to my files link in my signature.

Uses IOS 38 for install now.

cIOS 222 rev4 has been tested working with GX by DjDynamite. He mentioned a noticeable improvement in load times

have gone through the video and language settings? disc default video and console default language should be working. if not, idk
