How can I have a "clean" copy of USB Loader GX again?

The reason I'm asking if because ever since I updated my DOL, it gives me codedumps at startup, including the latest DOL revision.
I deleted the CONFIG directory and I still get codedumps.

At the moment only r425 dol works for me.

try here:

I had the same problem with the old forwarder. I don't know if it will help but try the now forwarder. Also remove the config folder from the sd card. If that don't work let us know by posting what worked or did not work thanks.

Has anyone been able to boot Rock Band 2 NTSC on a PAL wii?
Seems like here...patch isnt working.

Screen renders green...

USB fat support is out

Hell yeah!

So after a forwarder comes out, will I just be able to copy the settings and covers, keeping the directory structure, over to my HDD and it'll work, or will I need to change a lot of config settings to reflect USB:/ instead of SD:/
??

USB fat support is for the dol/settings only right? Games can't be done yet I'm guessing. And I just use it as if were the same as an SD card I'm going to assume.

Thats what i would assume as well.

Everything that you currently keep on a sd card will be kept on the fat partition of the hard drive which will eliminate the need for an sd card.

Works sweet as a nut

only thing i did was edit the config file to USB insted of SD

and then moved everything over to the hd

Cant wait for the forwarder
stupid homebrew channel will only look on the hd if there's no sd inserted
even if there's no app's folder

I just used rev482 and it was awsome. I moved the files on to the usb drive and removed the sd card. Than I ran it using the homebrew channel 1.3 to run the loader. I download the covers and icons and they worked prepect. The only thing that did not do what I wanted it to was the updater, which I am sure the makers of the loader is already working on I am sure. I am using cios38v12 usb2.0beta3 on a 4.0 wii before the LU64 and most all games work for me. I have tested 115 games and the only 2 games that game me problems is mortal kombat and house of the dead 2, which dose not work in any loader. They have to be patched to work from disk as well, so I know they where not going to work. I only keep them on the hard drive to test for any fixes. Well I just wanted to say great job, you guys should be happy with all your hard work. I am thanks again.

Is there anyway to shrink a wbfs partition and make part of it fat or ntfs?

Or do i have to reformat and start over.

Also how do i go about making two partitions?

Does the first have to be fat and the 2nd wbfs ? or the other way around?

how big of a FAT partition should it be on the USB drive? also, how do I get it to work as well? I try to change the custom paths in Settings but it won't delete the SD:/ part? help please, thanks

I have been using a dual partition Fat 32 and wbfs format To do this in windows go to the computer icon and right click on it, now go down to manager and click on that now go to disk management. Find the hard drive you want to use. Next delet all partitions. Setup a new partition fat32 no more then 31gb, I could be wrong but I thank fat can only go to 31gb. Next partition the rest of the hard drive ntsf. Run a wbfs program on your computer to format the ntsf partition to wbfs. Now put the files on the fat partition. Now I am having problems with rev482 and the updater. Every time I try it code dumps. Just wanted to let you guys know. But great work on this its doing awsome.

I would also like to know how to get it to work.

I made a 20gb ntfs and the rest is wbfs(911gb)

I copied all the stuff onto the 20gb part and changed everything in the config to point to USB instead of SD.

but to load the loader i have to use homebrew channel which needs the sd card.
Do the files on the sd have to point to the usb?

Ok you don't have to change any of the files to usb, they change to usb if the boot.dol file is loaded from the usb:apps folder. The new homebrew channel 1.3 can load files form the usb drive if no sd card is in the wii. Next just a little note if the sd and usb apps/usbloader_gx/boot.dol are the same on both. The forwarder will code dump at startup. Easy fix is just change the location on the usb hard drive to usb:/apps/usbloader_gx1/boot.dol. The forwarder don't point to the usb any ways and it keeps it from code dumping. I tryed everything I could thank of but every time I use the update button it code dumps. One small step for man, one giant leap for man kind. Lol thanks for adding the usb support, I have been waiting awhile for this.

got it working.

I was trying to load it with the sd card then unplug the sd card and use the hard drive.that didnt work.

I never knew hbc channel could load off of usb
