Is there any way we can take the new forwarder .wad and apply our own banners? It is definitely faster, I just have a consistent theme on all my channels, and want to keep it that way is possible...?
Ask NeoRame ... he's the channelmaster

the source for the forwarder.dol is on the googlecode page and ifyou want to change the channel himself use wadder.

When I pick a game to play the screen goes dim and I have to restart the Wii. I've heard it has something to do with the new cIOS revision 13? Is there any way I can stop this from happening?

Install cIOS rev12 or cIOSrev10 instead.
Personally...i stick with cIOSrev10.

Yes there is, just go back to Cios Revision 9 or 10... We just have to wait for a stable cios

Do I need to uninstall revision 13 or do I just install 9/10 over it? Sorry, I'm a bit new to all this and I wouldn't want to brick my Wii (even though I do have preloader)

did you change anything since then ... did you upgrade to a newer cIOS?

no . i'm still using cios38rev10 . i just tried rev456 of the loader and the problem seems to be gone now .

another issue which i'm not sure anyone has mentioned yet :
sdhc cards are working fine except that texture maps for smash bros brawl wont load from sdhc .
custom textures work by loading substitute files from the sd card to replace the textures stored on the disc . for some reason , the sdhc support seems to drop out after booting the game . is that something that can be corrected here ? i'm guessing it has something to do with code taken from geckoOS .

i read a few other sites and it seems like the problem i described above has to do with hardware access code that's built into smash bros (and possibly other games) so it's not in the scope of this loader's development .

unrelated issue :

the loader still has and always had wobbly video sometimes when booting directly from preloader . i noticed that clicking the settings (little gears) button fixes the problem by popping up a menu which apparently triggers a vsync wait . i'm not really sure how you do this , but could you try triggering this sync immediately after displaying game titles ? i'm assuming there's a way to trigger the sync without having to actually pop up a menu .

Hi I have been having a problem from 448 on up to 462. It might be I am using a non sdhc card. Just a 2gb sd card. I Thank I know the file that was changed and stops the wii from starting the loader. But let me say again what is happening. I delete the config file from the sd card and start up usb loader gx. Then I go into settings page and change something to make a config file in the config folder. After that I go back to wii menu and start usb loader again and I get a stack dump. Usb loader gx will not work again till I delete the config file from the sd card again. I am using a wii before the LU64 Mine is LU61. I have cios38 13a. I can use 447 and this stack dump dose not show up on start up at all. I thank the file is menu.cpp that keeps it from loading the config file. But I could be all wrong on that. Please help me out or at least give me a way to try and fix it. Let me know if this is something you guys are working on or if it is just me. I will try almost anything to keep my wii working with the latest verions. Just post something so I can change what needs to be changed. Thanks.

Update: I have found that when I unplug the gc controler and the gc memory card from slot A the loader will load with a config file so the sd card. Tested on rev462 but will work on the others I thank. I will try and find if it is the gc controler or the memory card.

Update2: After finding that it has something to do with the gc conroler and memory I recalled something about not installing cios with those in the wii. So I unpluged them and updated to cios38 13b to test out. So far so good, it of will not load games more then once without powering down the wii. But I already know that. I will keep testing and sorry if I wasted any ones time on this I am not one to forget things like unpluging memory cards and such. But I still do not know why rev447 did not have any stack dumps. I will post any changes I find. I only hope this helps someone who needs help like I did. Thanks again.

Update3: Well that happyness was short lived. The stack dumps are still coming. I have tracked down what is doing it. If I unplug the gc controller the stack dump are gone. To get a stack dump just plug in a gc controller and go to settings and change anything, now exit to the wii menu and start the loader again with the gc controller pluged in. I tested 2 types of gc controllers. So till this is fixed I will just keep the gc controller unpluged. Please let me know if you fix it. Thanks.

How do I actually make it work on my wii? Look at my post here( http://gbatemp.net/index.php?showtopic=159...p;#entry2026204 ) and help me someone....

Have you installed cIOS rev09 without any error?!...
That "darkscreen" you talk about is usually when the wii cant initialize the usb port...

Try to install waninkoko's cIOS rev10 and be watchfull about the the "2011" error..

Yeah I've installed cIOS rev09 but nothing.... should I install cIOS rev10 now?

No try this. (as i posted the the topic you started)

You probably have the same problem i have with my HDD, here's a temporarily solution till it gets fixed.

Install cIOS38 Rev13
Install USBLoader GX

Make sure your HDD is turned off
Now start USBLoader GX
When you get the "No USB drive found" message choose IOS249
You'll get a 30sec. countdown now turn your HDD drive on

Your HDD should now be fount in a mather of seconds.

Have phun....

I use the same method. However, when i exit from a game and go again to the loader it starts fine but when i load a game the screen freezes and only the pointer can be moved. Anyone who knows why this is happening? This did not happen before cios rev13(a,b).
