glad to hear you got it sorted out

i've been having fun trying out these new versions... its so good to hear fade to black playing in the background now!
I've found the last 100 revisions or so pretty unstable but hopefully it'll all get sorted out soon once they get a feature set they're happy with and turn the focus to stability (no offence guys this is coming along great!)
for now i just keep using the original 1.0 (not the new one on the first post as thats a bit iffy too) to play games and the new revs for messing about

:edit oh and its great to see parental settings and default settings stuff added now too! apart from the flash graphics this is the main reason i switched to this loader! to stop my little one from trying to play madworld or something like that

before with r395 my wii crash, now when i want load usbloader GX after 3s come back to the menu HBC! (i try with r391 it's same)
what this? (usbloader 1.1 work good)

Maybe you set Parentalcontroll on? Because that causes crashes right now and is going to be fixed soon. I tried 395 and it works fine for me and some other people tried that too. No one seems to have your problem.

Try deleting/renaming your config folder in the root of the SD and start again.

I was using r387 last night and the same thing happened after i clicked the fav star for a game. GX crashed and all subsequent attempts to boot it just exited to HBC in about 3 seconds. Deleting the GXconfig files from the config folder allowed me to start the loader again though. It's also happened to me on a previous release with the favourites option.

i make same before (delet all files inside the Config folder, reinstall cIOS10) but after 2 minutes the problem comeback, tomorrow i uninstall cIOS10 for install cIOS9 to see

today I uninstall cIOS10 and I install cIOS9 but the problem come back again

(after 5s usbloader close to HBC or core dump with chaine)
should I do?
format my wii?
waiting for a cIOS11?
downgrade? (it is 3.3E)

Can someone compile the channel for us? the last channel is r366 and whe now at the r395

Or better, why not post the tools and instructions to make our channel but using the OFFICIAL animation and "inject" the r395 (or wathever .dol next revision in the channel)

Can this is possible to do???

2. choose the original .wad and the NEW .dol
3. give a new name to the channel and click update
4. done! there you have the newest version in channel form!

in the new versions my theme.txt seems to not work, i got those stuff

show_battery = 0

prompttext_color = 255, 255, 255

but nothing works, can anyone help me.
and is there a way to disable the game count?

Delete all images (for the loader) from your sd AND delete all config files in the Config folder in your sd root (for the loader). Give it a shot maybe it helps. There is a little issue with the image downloading right now.

Have you renamed your theme file to GXtheme? GX is now the new prefix for our loader files.

When starting the USB Loader with the forwarder and then selecting back to loader on the home menu it takes me back to the Wii menu instead of the Homebrew Channel.

If I start the USB Loader from the Homebrew Channel and select back to the loader from the Home menu it takes me back to the Homebrew Channel.

Can't say for 100% sure but I don't think that it was always this way. I seem to remember being able to enter USB Loader through the forwarder and get to the Homebrew Channel from the USB Loader by selecting back to loader from the home menu.

When you tell to choose the original .wad, does the r366 channel wad is a "good" one?

after your message I wanted to copy my SD card before format and a file RYBE69.png did not want to copy, it's the last that had usbloader download!
after formatting my card now everything works well ^^

they should try to use .ELF
since .ELF is a lot more accurate in processing code​

I'm having trouble getting my settings to save (on SD). I have the config files on my sd (GXGlobal.cfg etc.) but every time I restart the loader, my setting revert to default. Am I missing a 'save settings to SD' button or something, cause it's very annoying having to set all the settings every time you run the loader.

The weird thing is, I think it does save wether or not I had the program on Lock or Unlock that last time I ran it. So it saves that setting, it just doesn't save anything else.

ALSO: from that same WIKI:

That is not very descriptive. How can I know which number is which video mode....

EDIT AGAIN: My GXGlobal.cfg begins with some assembly code (unreadable, partly because I don't have a hex editor), and after that the only options shown are:
QUOTEgodmode = 1
ogg_path = notset
wiilight = 2

I just tried editing GXGlobal.cfg as good as possible with the outdated WIKI information, and the first time it starts, it does look at the file and applies those options, but after I edited some options and restarted USB Loader GX, it reverted everything, except the setting shown above (i.e. wiilight etc.) to it's Default. I'm getting frustrated here, it can obviously change the GXGlobal.cfg file, it just doesn't save the settings on the first two pages of the settings screen.

If you had access to upload new loader revisions, once logged in, you will go to that page and will see a link to add content, this will also include the ability to upload a new channel wad with a more recent revision.
