Hacking USB Loader GX

my USBHDD has a power plug and a usb plug would that affect it at all? also is there any other loaders i can try to format it? i tried everything but it isnt being detected.

Is it possible to add a line in the gxsettings.cfg to change the text color of the settings text ?

also noticed that when you pick back to loader it goes to the wii menu it used to go to HBC is it supposed to ?

Your probly using a forwarder.

If you access the gx loader though a forwarder it will take you back to wii menu.
If you access the gx loader through the homebrew channel it will take you back to the homebrew channel.

When you say power plug do you mean one you plug into the wall outlet or a power usb plug that says data and power on it?
My drive is this way.I always plug both usb plugs into the wii and never had any problems doing so.I've also tried it with only plugging
one in and it still works.

another question. is there a new version with channel since the 366? is the "old" 1.5usbloader involved in the new version cause of some incombatible games like pangya or evil under the sun?

I can confirm that the new cIOS36 rev11 will let the usage of other usb device and it works with this loader. thanks to all

thanks for the replys guys, it seems it was my drive encloser that was screwing it up, so i got a new one and low and behold i was able to format it from the wii

I have an issue with Carnival games mini golf. If I try to execute it, the result is it reboots the Wii. Does the same from loader or HBC. Believe it worked on previous iterations. Currently have 375. Any ideas or do I need to do a bug report?

Anyone know if this loader is going to be able to save the config file on the USB drive along with all the images and other stuff.

Hi guys

I have code dump on boot (rev 379) when the parentalcontrol is set to 1 in the globalcfg
I tried to set the value to 0 on my pc, and retry, the loader boot correctly

for help, i just have madworld and house of dead overkill set to 1 in the titles.txt
Working great with my old rev 369
