Hacking USB Loader GX

Wow im shocked, i asked for media play back about a week ago and was told by DIMOK himself "this is a usb loader not a fucknig media player"

i guess he thought of whats best for this application.

mp3 first, divx /avi 2nd. which, ofc most ppl want avi playback WELL before they want mp3.

Some people have complained about game compatibility but it seems that the same rules for patching the game with IOS Patcher to IOS 249 or something else solves most loading problems. I got a few games to work by doing this and/or changing the settings in the loader from Auto Patch to Disc Region or Console Region

Have you tried House of the Dead 2, from House of the Dead 2 & 3 Return?

on both backup DVD or USBloaders.

the "rename" feature only renames the name of the image in the disk and not the data in the titles.txt file.

could anyone add this to the wiki please as i have no access

NTSC Solitaire & Mahjong goes black and doesn't work not even with a disc

can u post which version you are using with the game code and which settings you have in the loader.

i also find that some games only work when they are ripped direct from the disc: deadly creatures

well....for what the hell people want to listen mp3? ......they entered in usb loader in order to choose a game and play ....or listen to a music for....3 or 4minutes ...and just then ...they start thinking in playing yeh? ..... i think u really must concentrate in having not bugs ....incompatibilitys...... work in options (relatively to themes) more graphical to the end user ...those are things that the player choose one time...and persists for a few days or weeks... now, mp3? .... hum ... what about .....make the usb loader.... that can turn me on giving me chiks? ....girls getting out of the screen for example? ..i want u to implement that ! =D

Does not have to be a Wii game disk either. Gamecube, music cd, DVD any media cd/dvd will do it.
As the Wii does not read anything on it. Just a Disc in check or something.

that'd be a pretty usefull feature.
I'd like to keep the original disc titles.

So being able to edit the names directly in the titles.txt in the loader it'd be awesome!

Your work is appreciated. You will never please the masses. What works for some, may not work for the rest.

I tend to like the titles.txt as I picked up on a list of 100's of titles that were already corrected so I did not have to correct them myself. I will live if titles.txt is eliminated, however I can understand if some are sad to see titles.txt go. Some users that have 100+ titles on their HDD will have to rename dozens of game titles manually with a Wiimote and virtual keyboard once there is no need for titles.txt.


You choose the best option for the development and I will respect your choice.

But when you are using a titles.txt you will have to pick the ID of the game you want to renamen and then you have to type in the name you want it to have by hand as well. I think it worked for you to pick up one that fits your games but for the most of the users it won't. I'm not on the trip just to annoy users i just think that's what a GUI is for.
