I think the best name will be LoadGuii , let's vote for some names and let the authors team choose one
wink.gif
so when beta release it will have a special name

How about Vector-Gü

I am assuming that the GUI is vector based?

Well, I think the creators and developers of this awesome loader gui have the final word, but...
Why not just Guii?

Hello all again,

In the first post, in rev110 the WBFS_rename is implemented, but how do I use it ????
I have to rename it with my computer and the loader recognizes the renaming or is there an option to rename within USB Loader ?

I installed the forwarder that MAFIA linked on his page, and it works (on wii data management it does not show the name, just ???). I am using rev111.
The cover is not working anymore, I thought it was enabled on 111 again...

Could somebody post a config.txt example file like ULTIMATE, with all the options I cen configure with it ?

Oh, and finally, is there already a thread with the Backgrounds I can download ?

Everyone, Thanks a lot !!!

i have covers in sd root:/images all 160x224 nothing shows

tried rev110 and the rev111 that says its fixed whats the simple thing im missing?

The skin is based of R109 (it says this before starting it through HBC, unless you only copied over the boot.dol) I know it's not most recent it's just tough to keep up. Will update again tomorrow likely.

Now to play some Rune Factory
I tryed compiling r112 using your GüLoader theme by simply replacing the default images with yours, and it failed. Code dumps and freezes.
if all you did was replace images, there is really no way that could cause a code dump... keep in mind regardless, that I have made changes to the menu.cpp file in order to move around buttons, change text locations and colors, sooo... replacing the images alone, might not yield the result your hoping for. If you want to compare my changes to the original menu.cpp I recommend using Notepad++, it has scroll syncing when viewing two files so spotting changes is a breeze.

Wishlist:
searching for games via onscreen keyboard
rename games on titles.txt through the onscreen keyboard in the loader
diskslot lightup when installation of a game finished
dark overlay for the backup during WindowPrompt instead of white one
customizable button mapping via config (for install/delete/parentcontroll etc.)
implement save settings to SD-card
channel animations instead of boxarts (read the Opening.BNR from the ISO)
favorite games/categorize games
change keymapping on the d-pad
set the behav. of the "Wii"button in settings (to HBC or Wii Menu)
widescreen support
scrolling text for longer gamenames

MY REQUEST :

Return on Guiloader by pressing Home when you quit a game. Thank you and good job

Introducing:

a Gui Loader reskin by... me!

similar to my Darkskin (same really, just fixed up a bit, and updated)

ENJOY

Edit: I also switched the font to Calibri, even though I spent a long time looking for the Horatio font for you guys (and then converting it to ttf might I add) I understand some found it difficult to read.

This need to become default theme.

I 2nd that notion.Doesn't have to be the same name but that theme is a lot better and no text gets cut off.
Only thing i dislike about it is when scrolling through the games you see the LOADING IMAGE thats a big turn off.I would rather have it just go to
a black screen for a split second before the next cover appears.

Okey dokey Kiddos. Here's a little video of one of the things being worked on. It's not much, but I thought I'd put it up to appease the masses. In case you can't tell, this is the widescreen mode being debuggified. That's why it has my "debugger" behind it and everything doesn't line up. It's still a work in progress. Don't even bother asking when it will be up, because we don't know. this is what they call a teaser. So if you don't like being teased, don't watch. And asking about it really won't make it come any faster, so again, don't ask.

And Youtube cut of the left side of the video. it looks right on my tv.

To the guy that asked about vector. No, this is not vector based at the moment. It is all pngs, which can be created in a vector program, but right now they are all raster based. Vector programs cannot handle shadows and transparencies well. So it's just a trade off. I'm not even sure if libwiigui can draw in vectors. And either way, there is a limit of 604x480. So if you do the math, it works out to 17.48 pixels/inch on my 42" tv. That's the best the wii can make, unless you stick an nVidia card in it or something. And 17.42 is assuming that the graphics are done to perfection. The imaging software usually adds pixelation itself before the wii ever gets ahold of it.

Thank you, I manage to have it working under r113.

Hi guys !
Is it possible to add this request in wish list ?

Return on loader by pressing Home when you quit a game. Because you always have to relaunch the loader after quit a game.

Thank you and good job

This was incorporated with cios36 rev 9 i believe so if you installed that then you already have it.

That the original or the GU Loader one?

Figured i would ask since i saw you were compiling your own with the different background from the GU Loader.
