Hacking USB Loader GX

Using r179 I get a code dump.

r179 boots up and I can browse through games, cover art will load. If I click on a game the disc image comes up, but if I try to play the game (any game) it code dumps. Also if I try to go in to the settings section it code dumps.

I am pretty sure it will have something to do with the 469 games on my drive.

I am going to tweak the loader tonight. Hopefully your 469 games would be able to load tomorrow.

Could you post your stack dump data so i can take a look at it?

how big is your drive? i have 198 games using 400gd andstill got 334 games to do!
r178 works fine on 198 games

hey...im using r179.. and only two things i notice....

1. when scrolling with d-pad.. i can't select game with A button unless pointer is over title? used to work, was it disabled?
and
2. my default settings wont save , like if i change it from "display both" to "display gameID" and after i exit to HBC and reload its showing "BOTH" again..... is that OFF by default?

The ios222 feature is not enabled yet. Probably will add it tomorrow.

I wouldn't use r180 as it seems that it rolled back every change that was made to menu.cpp since r172. hungyip i contacted you about it through mirc but probably afk.

I am using r172 and it workds GREAT.. no freezing, no lag, plays games fine... 255 games here.

So I dont think that is the problem

the thing is that I haven't confirm that all the other files were also rolled back, so it may be unusually unstable.

if you like 172, use 172 not 180. if you liked 179, don't use 180. wait for the next one.

Sorry... I'm just now converting to this loader, and I have a few questions...

Can I change the location of the "config" folder?
How do I move the battery icons?
Where do I put my "titles.txt" file?
If I change the width/height of the box art, will it be out of proportion on the screen?
In the "theme.txt" file, can I use the "#" symbol, to comment-out remarks?

I Have everything loaded as normal on sd except the boot.dol I put on the root. Then went into preloader settings and loaded the file. then set auto boot to file. exited to system menu then turned off .then when i turned back on it booted straight away no problems . covers and discs work

i'm thinking to add to the config.txt of my tweaked version with the covers_path also these:
password = set_your_password_for_lock_unlock
godmod = 0 (0 -> starts locked, 1 -> unlocked, default 1)

what do you think?

titles.txt should be at SD:/config/ as well as config.txt (used only for themes so far)
check the wiki at the google code page of the project (first post is your help)

I got my discs labels spinning inside a white square when I select a game. How can I have the labels spinning with no white square outside it?

And there is no way I can delete games while in the loader?

1st download the disc images from the blinddude's signature

2nd you have to go to lock at options to enable that
