Could you please help me out with the following:

1. I have on my sd card in the wtheme folder a number of themes. How can you select from multiple themes?

2. Is there a way to get preloader to autoboot directly into usbloader-gx instead of system menu? I am using a forwarder.

1. put each theme in its own directory. i.e. wtheme\1\ , wtheme\2\ , ... and in the loaders settings you change the path accordigly to the theme you wanna set.

So there is no way to scroll through them from within the loader if they are in their own descriptive folder name?

Any help with the 2nd question?

yes, there isn't.
I think the 2nd question was answered before already...try looking for it in the last 50pages... but i don't promise anything

To give a new productive input to the coders:
because it bugged me to have the gameinfo in English although its available in German in the XML too, I crawled through the source one more time ^^
replacing the variable langcode with a hardcoded "DE" in line 318 and 432 in the xml.c gives me what I want: the GameInfo in German, if available.
But in the German gameInfo for deBlob i recognized some graphic glitches when moving the pointer :/
try to scroll down in a synopsis that is short. It results in a codedump

well...i had this with ExiteBots

You can get the german (or any other) gaminfo language if you set the game setting language to german for example.

When you boot into preloader there should be an option to install a dol. Once you do that you can direct boot to GX.

Not sure if this has something to do with The Conduit or IOS222, but this is the first time this has happened to me with any build. I am on build 603 and I am on the 3rd level in The Conduit (which I have played on numerous times) and almost at the end, my controls become very sporadic like they are getting stuck. The level itself is moving fine and all of the enemies as well, but as soon as I exit to the Wii Menu, my controls work fine again.

Low Batteries?

Kidding...

Are you using cheats?

Request: I agree with above poster, it would be most natural that it looks at the console default? It a bit of a pain to adjust it for each individual game?

EDIT: Ok I notice it can be done with only in game options setting the language. Problem is that this will most likely cuase some games to turn to french instead of english, in case dutch is missing, cause some game companies seem to find that more logical... I am afraid my french is quite bad, as with most dutch people nowadays

DISREGARD my above request: IF the game would play in french I can always overrule it in that individual game setting. The overall game setting gives me the flexibility to play all games in English if I would like (and would teach my kids english, french I think is asking to much of them for now). So I think the way it is now gives us the most options to configure.

LOL I did check my batteries and they are fine.

No cheats at all. I tried playing basketball in Wii Sports Resort and noticed a bit of the same. Perhaps my stupid Wii Motion Plus?

Could definitely be it. I always unplug mine unless I'm playing a game that uses it. I can test when I get out of work but it'll be about 5 hours.

Could also be that your bluetooth is going bad...

I've tried to use the search function on this site and I looked around on google, but I guess this was my last resort of posting in this thread. Recently I decided to update my USB Loader GX to the latest version (rev 603 I believe since I did the network update through it) and dabble around with the Ocarina function. With this in mind every time I try to start a game using Ocarina cheats (I have the .gct files in the codes folder that were converted over using eith WiiCM or selecting the cheats I wanted to use in USB Loader GX and having it make the .gct file) I get repeated DSI errors in which the console will want do a countdown before rebooting, but then repeats the same countdown in an infinite loop unless I hold down the powerbutton the the console itself. So I wanted to know is there some specific methods im supposed to do in order to get the Ocarina to work, or do I need an outside device such as the USB Gecko or whatnot?

On side note for loading methods I am using the Fowarder channel in order to load USB Loader GX.

The Ocarina bug should be fixed now (r603)

Nope.

Updated to rev603 this morning. With Ocarina always on, you now get a dialog that says 'Code file XXXXXX.cht not found, loading without cheats' for 1 second, screen fades to black, Wii crashes. That is loading a game without a code file. I load a game with a code file, I don't get that dialog but once the screen fades to black, the Wii crashes.

Disabling Ocarina completely results in games loading just fine. Downgrading back to rev580 works perfectly as well.

Sorry, but these guys obviously don't test their builds before releasing. There isn't a point in upgrading past 580 if everything after that is buggy as hell, features are broken, and the Wii crashing resulting in code dumps are constantly occuring.

I've not yet encountered any Ocarina issues with rev603. I only turn on Ocarina for the individual game I'm using it with though, not ON in the global settings.

Yeah, but he's got a point. There ought to be a series of tests that should be run before releasing it, including regression tests to make sure nothing gets broken.

Well it seems to be giving me better responses right now with the Wii Motion Plus off, but I have to play a game a bit more to make sure. I am still getting random freezes when starting games that use IOS222 and I am not sure if it has anything to do with clicking on the game CD too fast when I start one up in USBLGX.

Do you even know what a revision is? These whole revisions that are being uploaded are NOT releases as many times said! These can only be small changes of some code with no effect at all and mainly for coders to exchange the source and combine each others stuff. There was only 1 Release untill now and when most of the bugs are out there will be a 2nd.
You could say when you are running this application you are running a "beta" if its not the release version 1.

Yup. Exactly same thing happened with me here. Ocarina is so dead. Tried rev603, 604, 605, 606 with all cioses (249, 222, 223). Alt dol loading is broken too. Reverting back to rev580 works fine. To the person that has it working, what's the specs of your wii? Mine is 1st generation jap wii converted to US with old d2ckey modchip. Currently on 4.0U.

why not having the function integrated to update the wiitdb.zip only. i like the idea just to have the games in that are actually on the HD. but to do it manually at the pc is a pain in the ass. and updating the wiitdb.zip with an update of the whole loader requires to have an update for the loader itself.

Nice idea the alt dol from the iso itself in r606! Should it not just filter on .dol though? Or is there a chance we should use something else to get some games running?
For me does not work yet though (running r606 with wanin's rev12 from usb). In the setting tied it for MoH2, selected game.dol, but the setting after reloading showed only game. instead of game.dol and gave me a dump.

Must confirm that above poster is right. Altdol does not work anymore. It does say it is loading from SD and I do not have a SD inserted but only an USB disk connected. Maybe that is why, LOL...

Trying now if running from SD (with SD settings ofcourse) will have the "old" altdol working.

EDIT: yes when started from SD altdol works. Must add that it makes no difference running from USB started by HBC or Forwarder (made a difference a few revisions back when HBC díd find USB path's while the Forwarder made it not) . Seems that the altdol path is not found either way.

Maybe also the case for the Ocarina codes?

Hope it will be fixed for USB soon, ánd indeed from the iso itself!

Cheers.
