are you using something else than rev 13a? you might need to choose anti in the error 002 fix, its on/off/anti if you are using rev 13a then not sure, otherwise anything else you probably need it on anti for the fix

Rev9 works just fine too (if you have no usb peripherals). Global setting of 002 fix to on, with just the likes of Ghostbusters set to anti.

I keep getting error 002 even wit the fix enabled.

Are there any other ways to fix it?

You should not be getting that error as the other chap said. I am on 13a and gx loader is on Rev 570 and I am useing Pal system and Pal Disc. 002 errors is a thing of the past with the new Gx Loader if you have it set up right.

On rev 571 I am getting abnormal behaviour from the wii remote pointer, moving on its own disappearing blinking and moving from side to side very annoying when browsing games.
any one else have this ?
everyting is fine in wii menu its only when i load gx i get this

Well...first, my Hermes cIOS is back after updating, now it's realy stable, awesome
smile.gif
. But I still have a little request...I'm realy happy that we got a Cheat Editor in the App, like CheatManager
smile.gif
. But for me, I have now everything on the first FAT-Partition on my HD, and can't move my HD to my PC, because the AC Adapter...and Code Downloader can't save to a HD...so, now what if someone could code something like this:

If you click on the Ocarina Icon, and there's no File found, it asks you if you want to download it, or make an Option to download the Cheats for every game you have. I don't know something about coding, but I think it is possible to check for the game ID, download the matching file from a Server with it and save it to the custom path/USB (like with Covers/Discs..maybe even the same code could be used)...I found out that the codes are stored in this adress:
QUOTE said:
http://www.usbgecko.com/codes/codes/R/GameID.txt
Also I found that out:
QUOTEIm not releasing the source to prevent people from changing it to abuse the usbgecko server, but I can point you in the right direction. Anyway code downloader just gets null terminated ascii text so you couldnt use it to download updates. This is a link to the network code I used. http://code.google.com/p/wiihttp/source/br...k/source/main.c

Now if you want a more appropriate starting point you can check out the netsend example from teknecal here. Image:Sample netsend.zip

Or better still look at the source to wiiearth. http://code.google.com/p/wiiearth/source/b...h/source/http.c

and if thats not enough here is the source for fceu gx. http://code.google.com/p/fceugc/source/bro...ce/ngc/http.cpp --Linus 18:40, 7 March 2009 (UTC)
Or look at Beardfaces CoverFloader....it has it already integrated (with some nice features, like you can't go Online if you cheat, batch download, remembering of last used Chaet, etc..)...Would be nice if someone could have a look at this
smile.gif
. Everything what you need is already made, so it shouldn't be that hard, I think... If I COULD code, I'll would do it, but yeah...I'm a looser in this point...

. Thanks in Advance, I realy hope someone could do that

Great loader.!!! Only one problem I got is changing the theme which doesn't seem to work for me.
I downloaded a few themes from http://wii.spiffy360.com/themes.php then extracted them to each of their own folder copied to SD://wbtheme/themefolder/ go to GX setting and point ot the folder which I want say snakeandchrome SD://wbtheme/snakeandchrome/. Restart, and nothing changes.

I am using the Forwarder Channel 16-06-09. R568.dol on a Wii USA v4.0. with cIOS r13b.

Anyone care to enlighten me where I slipped.

Thanks

There has to be only 1 / after SD and don't forget the last / .I think the should also be a config file for the theme in the map

Thanks for the reply tj_cool, I think I understand now. I just redownloaded the snakeandchrome theme and seems that there is another subfolder (stupid me didn't looked at the structure when I extracted as I copied to the SD card) I'll try this again when I go home.

Wouldn't a browse functionality to select a theme would be wonderful. I hope the feature can be added in the futere. If not, it's still the best.

Thanks,

Thanks tj_cool, so you're saying that I can only have one them in the SD Card at a time. What if I wanted to change it to another theme (say I have a theme for me and another for my kid) seems to be tedious replacing the themes. What I understand was that you can have different foldels as long as you point GX to use the theme you wanted (It is in the setting that you point out the directory - right?) and it have the it has a GXtheme.cfg.

So can you confirm that I can only put one theme (because I've setup it as multiple folders) but each theme has a separate folder.

Thanks
No just a misunderstanding
you can have multiple themes
but you typed SD://folder/other folder/
so I thought that was what you pointed the loader to, while it should only have on / after SD (SD:/folder/folder/)
but thats probably not the issue...

strange cause it should change directly after you change the path (I don't think there is a difference between normal and widescreen..)

edit: too late
tongue.gif

It would be a nice feature indeed

You're just too fast
biggrin.gif
, and I am at work. The issue is just bugging me because I can do almost everything other than changing the theme.

Thanks man

Hi tj_cool,

Hope you are still online, just arrived home and tried to correct the subfolders but still no go. Theme doesn't change, I'm just wondering what I'm doing wrong here. Where do you get your themes And how many themes do you have?

Also on R568, I get a stack when I tried to download a missing cover, but when I restarted the cover is there (so it downloaded) If I remember it right, hdhacker was trying to figure this out although I haven't followed.

Hope someone can help, maybe point me to a theme which I can try to put on my SD and apply on Gx.

Thanx

isn't "wtheme" the correct folder name ? , don't remember a "b" in the name of this folder.....

your correct path should be SD:/wtheme/snakeandchrome/ (assuming that your theme folder is wtheme and not wbtheme , look in this direction.)

you can choose any name you want as long as you point your loader to it, mine is just theme

Yeah you're right, but was just a typo when I made the post, I do have wtheme on the SD card and I got the same name on the GX settings, and AFAIK that it really doesn't matter what name you have on the folder as long as you point the same folder on the Gx settings ( I might be wrong ). I will have to do some more testing to know where the real problem lies.

Anyways, thanks for your input.

Thanks,
