Hello
I have two request.

- Is it possible to add a lang.txt file in config folder to modifie the language ?
- Is it possible to add an option in the loader to change theme inside the loader

Maybe for a next rev ?
thanks

Hi,

I decided to try usbloader (even if I don't have the use).
I tried 2 of them, and found yours really nice and decided to stick with.
I like how the updates are coming really fast and how you listen to people, and interface is good

I have a problem though, I don't know if it's the good place to say this,
maybe I didn't read enough other threads, I'm just new to the usb loaders and haven't followed the evolution to usbloader, sorry if that's the case.

here is my problem step by step :

note : GuilGX Release tested r178 to r193

Step 1 : First try on Wii
- Formated a new HDD on windows. New logic partition in extended partition.
- Connect HDD, and run USB Loader 1.5 mod 0.2 by Brisma (it was the one with more functionalities on Wikitemp)
- USBloader asked which partition I want to format, and it was very fast.
- Copy 1 Wii game to wbfs partition with brisma's loader.
- run GuilGX to see if uploaded games showed and worked. it was fine.
- Added another game with GuilGX.

Step 2 : Add game with PC
- Put the HDD on PC, and the partition wasn't lettered, and recognize "empty" by windows.
- create a partition again on the empty space without formating in ntfs, and give it a letter
- Run WBFS Gui by PrixM
- Format the new partition with wbfs gui
- copy 4 games on it.

Step 3 : back to Wii - Problem is here
- connect HDD, and run GuilGX
- GuilGX doesn't recognize the new partition with 4 games, but instead show me the "old" game partition with 2 games on it (but games aren't booting, ret0)
(on Windows, the new partition with 4 games is still recognized)

Why does it can have 2 WBFS TOC informations on the same time ?
is that a WBFS_win issue which added and formated a new WBFS TOC after the already WBFS wii TOC, or a USBloader issue ?
Note : Brisma usb loader show the 1st partition too.

Sorry for the long post,
And continue your good team work

Thank you

Thank you

Use primary partitions instead of a logical on an extended. And second, I dont understand the need for having more than 1 WBFS partition =/
Why not just add from the PC to the existing partition ?

Thanks for the reply.

I will try on primary partition. (but I have some data on it)

I didn't make a second WBFS partition.

When the Wii formated the 1st time the WBFS, and connect the HDD to the PC, the partition was recognize as "empty" without a letter, wbfs gui didn't me allow to choose that empty partition (no letter available).
Being recognize as empty, I had to recreate the same partition over (not a second one) to assign a letter to it. I tried to create the partition without format, just to assign a letter, thinking maybe the 2 games were still here. (maybe that's the error I made)

That's why I don't understand why the Wii show me the old TOC information, after the partition was re-created.

Anyway, I reformated that partition to NTFS, so now it's really deleted (first and second TOC).
I think it's normal the Wii doesn't create a partition with a letter for windows.
But the partition created under windows might work, so it's better to create it on windows first, right ?

correct, better to assign letters in windows first. Format as fat32. than let the wii take a partition and format it wbfs.

Thanks.
I'll use it this way now.

I was just wondering why wbfs could handles 2 different TOC on the same partition, one visible on Wii and one on PC.
I think I'm not be the only one with HDD formated on Wii before plugging it to computer.
It was just to make that error known, maybe someone will read it and find it useful.
