Hacking USB Loader GX simple question

If i put some .WBFS on my SD Card instead of a USB Loader and put it on my Wii,will it work or not?


Also,how can i turn .rar files to .iso?

That's actually a very interesting question...

I normally don't get involved with USB Loader, but I believe (depending on the file location) it should be in the file to properly work.
The root of the SD Card (Top) is normally where very important things are loaded such as... The app's folder for HBC, the other folders for other mods, and the boot.elf file (Which loads up bootmii I believe)

If USB Loader has a file on the root of the SD Card put it inside the folder first, and see if it works. Putting it on the root of the SD Card will most likely brick it.

Turning rar files into iso's I have no idea sadly...

USBLoaderGX only loads wbfs files from USB.
CFG Loader and Wiiflow can load wbfs files from SD Card.

Maybe if I have time I'll add support for SD Card, but it's not a priority.

I've managed to complete everything here,but my last question is what to do when i get "USB Loader could not be found,switching channel list mode"?

that's not what's written.
it's not the "loader" which can't be found, the the USB drive. it means the HDD couldn't be found.
it's either an issue with the drive (not enough power?) or an issue with the loader (set IOS58 as default IOS for the loader in the settings instead of cIOS249).
if still not working, I don't know the solution, and you might have to post on the official usblaodergx thread for more help.
