if you are using the slot249, it looks fine.
if you are using another slot (maybe 250?) by default in the loader's settings, that's why (cIOS rev20 is old and not the best)
if you use any other slots, they are old too. some even have issues (d2x v6 is not launching wiimote+ games without using a special setting).

you said you select "start" on the "disc window" ?
are you using the "rotating disc" option, or you have an old version of USBLoaderGX which only had the disc mode?

you didn't tell us which version of the loader you are using. nothing at all in fact, just that it reboots.
Console rebooting is usually symptom of game not found.
either the USB is not compatible, or the IOS is not (correctly) installed, or old.

verify your games files are not write protected on your USB. that's another possible reason for the console to be unable to launch the game.

I don't have other idea why it's happening. Maybe your drive is not compatible or don't have enough power.
Can you try another USB drive?
Are you using the default settings ? (IOS slot set to 249)

I can't see how it's partitioned by that. ;)

It could just be that it's a flash drive. If you have Windows look in Disk Management and see if it has any partitions on it other than the one you know about that you're trying to copy games to. Anything like "EFI" or "System Reserved" could be causing the problem.
