i have a strange problem here:

when i turn on my wii and plug in my hdd device and start the usb loader (in that order)

1.) all my covers are gone
2.) i cant update because he tells me "console is locked"
3.) the loader doesnt recognize my sd card (cant download covers because the loader tells me "no Sd-card inserted")

when i start the usb loader at first and plug in my hdd at the time the screen with "waiting for your slow usb device.." appears everything is ok.

thats weird.......maybe some1 can help me

thx in advance

Thats exactly the same as my cousins it wont work unless you wait for the waiting for your slow hard drive and then it runs fine do you find that it will boot too the drive when you reset the wii

anyway delete gx's config files then download latest revision of GX that should do the trick!

thx for replies

the parental control is off

my problem appears after updating my usb loader from a relatively old version to the latest one via online update

i deleted all config files but the problem is still present

when i push the "reload SD" button all my games have the same cover, in my case all games are my sims kingdom and they all have the title my sims kingdom

after reloading the Sd card i can change all settings like normal

but that is not a proper solution

pls help me

Try reinstalling gx
Do you have the usb in the right slot?

yeah the right port

i've tried the rev 514?!? (not sure) from the "USB-Loader GX" thread and this one works like a charm

after that i wanted to update to the newest rev (815 i think) and the same error occurs

is something wrong with this rev or whats going on there??

no nothings wrong with the rev, if you rev514, you most have an outdated cIOS along with it.

otherwise there is this point:

"when i start the usb loader at first and plug in my hdd at the time the screen with "waiting for your slow usb device.." appears everything is ok."

but i'll try a new cIOS, which one should i take??

i think i've solved my problem

i installed cios 222 rev 4 which seems necessary for rev 7xx and higher and after updating to rev 866 everything is fine

I'm having the same issue now and dont know how to resolve it. I played my Wii last month and now when I turn it on I get that error "waiting for your slow USB drive". Whats up with that?

devkitPro by defaults use C and C++. So I suppose you start off with C first and then move onto C++.
