Hacking USB loader gx not loading first time

Hi, im new to soft modding the wii.

I installed usb loader gx and load games from a pendrive.

After a power on the usb drive is not detected (it sais looking for HD drive and a coutdown), the wii has to reboot and after a few tries the usb loads.

Does anyone know what could be the problem?

Try a HDD? Many flash drives are not particularly reliable on the Wii. Any drive listed on Nintendo's site as compatible with the Wii-U should work.

I dont have an external hdd
