Hacking USB Loader GX not Detecting 500 GB HDD

So I decided to put in use an HDD I recently acquired, not wanting to fully dedicate the drive to the usage of my Wii stuff, I partitioned it into 2 halves consisting of 232.88 GB each, 1 side in NTFS for my normal files and one in Fat32 for my Wii backups and Nintendont GC backups.
Upon starting my Wii, USB Loader GX doesn't load it, later after some inspection, turns out my Wii as a whole doesn't detect the drive.

What drive is it? What partitioning scheme are you using? Did you turn off any extra features like power saving or encryption? Is it plugged into port 0? (The one closest to the edge of the console)

It's a drive that I built by using a new case (originally it was a normal laptop drive, the case helped it become formattable for external usage). I used the partitioning of the disc manager in windows 10 but formatted one partition to FAT32 with a third party app. It is plugged onto port 0.

your drive was initialized as GPT or MBR ? (must be MBR)

and did you put the FAT32 partition in first position ?

Does the drive draw power from the Wii or does it plug into the wall? You really want one that plugs into the wall for power (even in scenarios where it "works"). In many cases 2.5" bus-powered drives will not get enough power from the Wii (at least not from a single USB port). Some drives have a Y connector to connect with two ports--I strongly recommend not doing this (I'm sure lots of people do it).

The other factor is that the drive should plug into the lower port I believe. For some reason sometimes the other port won't work.

What happened to me was that connecting the supplementary power of the y splitter to the second usb slot on wiiu wasn't providing enough power so I had to connect it to a usb slot on my pc. Another weird trick i had to use on another portable drive was launching usbloader with the drive disconnected and then plug it in when it says waiting for hdd. Edit: I have to do both of These Things to get the Drive to work.

make sure it's MBR
IIRC fat32 should be the first partition. nintendont requires this.
(by first, doesn't mean it's just the letter)
and make sure they are logical partitions and not extended.

Ok, I'll keep you guys updated.
I believe it was MBR, and second I think the error I made was making the second partition FAT32 rather than the First one, I'll try it.
Also, I think that is the problem as well, my case is the 2.5 bbking mentioned, so I'll try the power solution as well (But I would have to wait to get one of those cables).
UPDATE:
By the time I was about to post this, turns out it didn't work, It must be the little power it draws from the wii then...
Not sure what to do now.

Yeah both of my drives are toshiba and both have issues. They work but with the work around I posted earlier.

That could be the problem, then. From what I understand Toshiba drives have some kind of funky power saving mode that turns them off after like 20-30 seconds.

I'm gonna be trying the method someone suggested about buying an extra cable to give more power to my drive, I hope it works, I'll continue to keep you guys posted.

remember even using the splitter y cable I had to connect the supplementary power cable to my pc because the wiiu still wasnt giving enough power to my drive. So connect the main cable to usb slot 1 on ur wiiu and the supplementary to another usb power source.

You could also use instead of a pc's usb port a wall charger with a usb slot preferably a Samsung.
