Well at any rate, swapping out the alt for v10 seemed to do the trick. I have successfully backedup and played games from wiiflow, which is pretty neat. I have now been encountering a DSI exception error. Doesn't always happen but when it does it usually is when i'm done installing a game or trying to quit out of a game. I googled it for a while and saw someone recommend deleting a line from the wiiflow xml but that hasn't helped. It otherwise works pretty well aside from having to pull the plug from the wall everytime this error happens.
