Hacking USB loader GX error

I read again through the whole conversation and I see a thing that maybe can you try:

You said your USB Stick is formatted with NTFS.
Please re-format it with FAT32,put games with the WiiBackupManager on it and try it again.

Did you also please checked this in the Global settings ?

Global Settings - Loader Settings - Nand Saves Emulation OFF or PARTIAL

Global Settings - Hard Drive Settings - Game/Install Partition (there should be FAT32 with the size of the partition/USB Device)

since yesturday it just been giving me that error and i open it up to get everything and it seems to be all fine cuase my friend is the one that did the drive board only mod.

Do I understand it correct,you opened the Wii and checked all Cables and so on ?

it was open from the begging, i have check all the connectors and cables and everything is connected correctly cause it was a project i wanted to do and it was working for probably like a month or so and that happen yesturday

Yup lol that's the first thing I install cuase when I started to learn Wii modding they recommend installing that

Well,slowly but for sure,I think we are sadly running out of options....
And another Option is maybe to consider: maybe a Hardware Malfunktion.

- USB device(s) - you have checked all options,tried another Device,format to FAT32.
- USBLoader GX is on the LATEST Version - MAYBE you can try to delete the Settings of it or set it to DEFAULT in the GLOBAL Settings....
(before you do this PLEASE BACKUP the Files GXGameSettings.cfg and GXGlobal.cfg in SD:\apps\usbloader_gx)
- your sysCheck is good.

Did you Update your USBLoader GX to v3.0 r1272 ? I mean was an older Version previously there ?
If you use the Update option from the USBLoader GX Settings then please delete the folder on your SD Card and re-install/copy the Files MANUALLY on your SD Card.
ALSO: PLEASE BACKUP your SD Card before doing this !!!

for the USB i have tried difrent ones with the same file format, i always done manual update cause i dont trust doing update from the system and i have put everything on default too

Ok then maybe try an other USB Device with FAT32 please.
Put some Games with the WiiBackupManager on it and give it a try again.

So a few things it could be:
1. wii game backup files have gotten corrupted
2. USB device is going bad
3. wii hardware is going bad

can also be a combination of issues: for instance USB device is going bad and that corrupted the game backup files... Just saying it's a possibility.

1. if you have another wii check them on it. or perhaps see if they will run in dolphin (dolphin may still play it even with corruption, the emulator or OS may have some smartness built into it allowing it still to play...) or maybe there's a place you can check the md5 hash or something. either way try to make sure the game files are still good and have not been corrupted over time.

2. try testing your usb device. for a flash drive H2testw for a different drive see if the manufacturer provides something. This may be destructive depending on options chosen so copy stuff off it first. Also try a different drives with the wii as well.

2a make sure you are using the correct USB port on the wii as well. As well as making sure the drive has proper power to it; an underpowered drive can do odd things.

3 depending on what is going bad you may be able to extend the life of your wii... but not indefinitely. say for instance the nand flash is going bad. there may be some blocks that went bad for a specific file on it. If you reinstall using a nandbackup or modmii then the badblock might get pointed to a different block allowing the OS to be workable again... I'm sure there is a better way of explaining this but it's early morning here...

3a Well if you have a nand backup you can try restoring it and seeing if that brings you back to a working state.
