Hacking USB loader gx direct channel wad?

I dont want to use a forwarder I want a channel installed on my system, is there one and how many blocks does it take?

Also, is there any other way to use partition 1 of my HDD to store homebrew apps and the partition 2 being the WBFS one? So as to also being able to store game covers on the HDD?

but how do i do that? do i just create the app folder on the HDD and HBC will detect it automatically? Same with game covers?
