Hacking USB Loader GX - Crashes Upon Load with Custom Theme

After changing my USB Loader GX theme, it now crashes when starting up. The theme works just fine when I first apply it, but if I restart USB Loader GX it fails to load and just shows an error dump screen (I can post an image of it if that would help).
I can change the settings file on my SD card to my old theme to get it to load again, so that's not the problem.

For the past few months I've been using the "White Mario Theme". The new theme I'm trying to use is a Zelda Skyward Sword theme.

The White Mario one says V3 and the Zelda one says V1. Does that mean the version of the theme itself, or is it specifying which version of GX it will work with?

I even loaded it up and re-exported it in the Theme Creator but it still crashes. Theme Creator doesn't seem to detect any problems with it... I'm stumped.
