EDIT:Sorry for the misstype in the title, i meant to put USB Loader GX
So first off I would like to say Im as green as you can be when it comes to modding your wii. I followed a video guide to install homebrew and usb loader, and how to put wii games onto a usb (tho i have installed nintendont also to play GC games)
Now, I originally modded my wii so my friends and i could play dokapon kingdom. The game appeared on the games list, and shows the splash screen where you get the "settings" and "start" option. Launch the game, goes to black screen and system freezes. Tried a few more times (cuz maybe a bad boot) and got the same result. Now this lead to some trouble shooting to it possible being the game, which led to the trying of forcing region/language, different wfbs' (isos), and changing IOS setting from 249 to 250. No luck, same result.
So a few days pass and i decide that ill just use my wii now to play gamecube isos of games i used to own but lost/sold and miss playing. Installed nintendont, and games work just fine. But i remembered USB loader gx can launch gc games through nintendont itself, and i wouldnt mind just going through that, as all the games i have installed on my wii are there too, for ease of access. Try to launch a gc game that works fine via nintendont itself, and the result is the freezing black screen again. This leads me to try to launch a vc game installed on my wii that i know works via usb loader, and that too black screen freezes. Now Im sure its the loader. But i did mess with settings and such trying to get dokapon to work, so ill try a fresh install of usb loader. Still the same results (on all 3 things, dokapon, gc games, vc games)

Other things ive tried:
Multiple USBs, one of which i know is compatible due to using the compatability list (i know reading recently everyone says to use a external, but money is a issue and could only afford a usb)
reformatting usbs
