I downloaded Mario galaxy 2 (NTSC version playing on pal wii) and I burnt it to a DVD and when I click install game, it just freezes and I have to reboot. I ended up just putting It on my hdd straight from my pc and it's awesome! I have ciosx rev 19 ios base 57 installed and the latest USB loader gx. does anyone know why it would be freezing? this is the first time this has happened

Hi,

You might want to provide a bit more detail...

What revision of USB loader are you using.
How is your HDD set up are you using a wbfs partion ? or FAT32 or NTFS with WBFS files ?

Someone correct me if I'm wrong but you cannot write to an NTFS partition using USB Loader GX as it's not supported and would give the sypmtoms you describe.

yall im torn... ive been hacking away at tales of phantasia GBA (the USA version) and have so many documents of reverse engineering i've done
  • TwoSpikedHands @ TwoSpikedHands:
I just found out that the EU version is better in literally every way, better sound quality, better lighting, and there's even a patch someone made to make the text look nicer
  • TwoSpikedHands @ TwoSpikedHands:
Do I restart now using what i've learned on the EU version since it's a better overall experience? or do I continue with the US version since that is what ive been using, and if someone decides to play my hack, it would most likely be that version?
