I don't know how prices reflect where you live, but the 500gb Freeagent G0 is always on sale for $109.99, and is the PERFECT (repeat PERFECT) drive for all your Wii needs. I've looked at this drive, and it seems like a waste of money compared to the Freeagent Go.

Please consider the 500gb Seagate Freeagent Go instead of this drive. Here are the drive's best features.

-100% compatibility, even when multi partitioned (1st partition FAT32 for emus etc, 2nd for WBFS)
-Smallest portable hard drive on the market
-Powers on with the Wii, so you never have to get up and mess with hardware/Wii
-Included software allows you to set the spindown/standby to NEVER (don't rely on loaders for this)
-Aesthetically pleasing, and "Starburst" light looks great

Thanks for the reply. I asked because it's currently on offer from another source. That site was just a reference for the model and snapshot of the drive. Freeagent GO is no doubt tested to work but I just thought this one didn't look too bad as well. Currently using WD passport works perfect.

^I have an *almost* identical drive. I have the Seagate Expansion drive but I think it's only 350GB. Works perfectly on the Wii though.
